The London High Court rejected the Duke of Sussex&#8217;s application to pay for such services, which was one of two cases filed against the Home Office. While living in the United States, they are protected by armed bodyguards, but when they are in the UK, those same guards aren\u2019t allowed to carry weapons. Prince Harry argued that his family needs that extra level of protection while in Britain.<\/p>\n<p>The second case against the Home Office has yet to be heard. It focuses on whether Prince Harry should have his <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/prince-harry-and-meghan-markle-learn-court-decision-about-police-protection\/\" title=\"Harry and Meghan find out about police protection court ruling.\">state-sponsored security restored<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The duke first filed the cases in September 2021 after being in the country that year to honor his mother at the unveiling of his mother the late Princess Diana\u2019s statue.
