Resnik responded by cursing at Lake, causing members of the audience to boo.<\/p>\n<p>Lake also addressed her recent loss in a lawsuit challenging Democratic Gov. Katie Hobbs\u2019 win in the November election, stating that she would appeal the case to the U.S. Supreme Court if necessary. Resnik questioned Lake&#8217;s decision to stick with her lawyers, who had lost every case they tried and had been sanctioned twice for misleading the court.<\/p>\n<p>Resnik&#8217;s recounting of the facts regarding Lake\u2019s lawsuit was not entirely accurate. While Lake did lose at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/jim-jordan-announces-plans-to-make-it-easier-to-break-up-big-tech\/\" title=\"Jim Jordan Announces Plans To Make It Easier To Break Up Big Tech\">trial court level<\/a> in December, the Arizona Supreme Court overruled the judge in March regarding one of the counts in Lake\u2019s complaint. The justices ruled that the issue of whether Maricopa County followed the law in relation to signature verification on mail-in ballots should go to trial.<\/p>\n<h3>Resnik&#8217;s Actions Criticized<\/h3>\n<p>Lake also criticized Resnik\u2019s actions at an event they both attended at Arizona State University regarding <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/jimmy-and-rosalynn-carter-return-to-church-after-vaccination-year-long-hiatus\/\" title=\"Jimmy And Rosalynn Carter Return To Church After Vaccination, Year-Long Hiatus\">face mask policy<\/a> during the COVID-19 pandemic. She accused Resnik of being on the wrong side of history and refusing to say the Pledge of Allegiance and put his hand on his heart. Resnik responded by accusing Lake of making things up.<\/p>\n<p>Despite Resnik&#8217;s claims, Lake maintained that masks are not healthy for children and that Resnik was cheerleading for masks and vaccines.
