A senior FBI official admitted to not reading the Durham report, which was released over a week ago. Rep. August Pfluger (R-Texas) was left &#8220;speechless&#8221; when he heard this during a hearing on May 23. Pfluger, who chairs the Homeland Security Subcommittee on Counterterrorism, Law Enforcement, and Intelligence, questioned Jill Murphy, <a title=\"Biden's\u00a0Ecoterror-Linked BLM Director\u00a0Moves Senior Leadership Back to Washington Swamp\" href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/bidens-ecoterror-linked-blm-director-moves-senior-leadership-back-to-washington-swamp\/\">deputy assistant director<\/a> of counterintelligence at the FBI, about the report.<\/p>\n<h2>The Durham Report<\/h2>\n<p>The report was released by special counsel John Durham, who was appointed by then-Attorney General William Barr in October 2020 to review the FBI&#8217;s investigation into alleged ties between Trump and Russia. Durham found that the FBI &#8220;relied on raw, unanalyzed, and uncorroborated intelligence&#8221; for its investigation. The FBI acknowledged mistakes in its investigation of the Trump campaign following the report&#8217;s release.<\/p>\n<h3>Republicans&#8217; Astonishment<\/h3>\n<p>Other Republicans at the hearing shared Pfluger&#8217;s astonishment that Murphy had not read the report. Rep. Dan Bishop (R-N.C.) asked Murphy why she had not read the report, to which she replied that she had not had time. Bishop called her response &#8220;almost contemptuous.&#8221;<\/p>\n<h3>China<\/h3>\n<p>During the hearing, Pfluger also revealed that the FBI has not responded to a letter he and House Committee on Homeland Security Chairman Mark Green (R-Tenn.) sent on April 24. The <a title=\"GOP stunned as FBI official admits not reading Durham report.\" href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/house-republican-speechless-after-senior-fbi-official-admits-not-reading-durham-report\/\">letter requested information<\/a> on the Chinese regime&#8217;s clandestine &#8220;police stations&#8221; in the United States, including New York City.
