A man who spent months of his six-year term in the hospital dealing with serious <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/9-year-old-girl-pepper-sprayed-during-interaction-with-rochester-police\/\" title=\"9-Year-Old Girl Pepper Sprayed During Interaction With Rochester Police\">mental health issues<\/a>? Don&#8217;t worry, Fetterman is being given all sorts of leeway, including when it comes to the Senate dress code.<\/p>\n<p>But let&#8217;s talk about his attire. Fetterman has decided to dress for the job he had, rather than the job he has. Forget about dressing for the job he wants, if he even has any hopes for advancement. But Fetterman has found a workaround. Male senators are expected to wear a jacket and tie on the Senate floor, but Fetterman votes from the doorway of the Democratic cloakroom or the side entrance, making sure his &#8216;yay&#8217; or &#8216;nay&#8217; is recorded before ducking back out.<\/p>\n<p>But don&#8217;t tell that to those in Fetterman&#8217;s orbit, who told the AP that skirting the Senate&#8217;s dress code and looking like a bum are just part of the senator&#8217;s appeal. &#8220;People close to Fetterman say his relaxed, comfortable style is a sign that the senator is making a robust recovery after six weeks of inpatient treatment at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center,&#8221; the AP reported.<\/p>\n<h3>Is Fetterman&#8217;s Attire a Sign of Maturity?<\/h3>\n<p>This is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/carlson-mocks-trudeau-for-hiding-says-he-used-covid-to-short-circuit-democracy\/\" title=\"Carlson Mocks Trudeau for Hiding, Says He Used COVID to 'Short Circuit' Democracy\">prima facie absurd<\/a> and yet another sign that the questions about Fetterman&#8217;s maturity still haven&#8217;t been answered. But don&#8217;t worry, he&#8217;s setting a new dress code. Because he doesn&#8217;t want to follow the dress code? Look, one understands that part of Fetterman&#8217;s appeal on the campaign trail is that he looked like a &#8220;Street Fighter 2&#8221; character while talking like Bernie Sanders. That was the campaign trail. Now that he&#8217;s in the Senate, it&#8217;s time to dress like a senator.<\/p>\n<h2>Is Fetterman Fit to Serve?<\/h2>\n<blockquote>\n<p>John Fetterman, the Lieutenant Governor of Pennsylvania, has been making headlines for his casual attire during official events. Some have compared him to a teenager who refuses to dress appropriately for a formal occasion. While his fashion choices may seem trivial, they are indicative of a larger problem. Fetterman&#8217;s staff has been caught editing his remarks in transcripts, and passing off altered quotes to reporters. This lack of transparency is concerning, and it&#8217;s disappointing that Democrats have turned a blind eye to it.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<h3>A Recovery Plan?<\/h3>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Some have suggested that Fetterman&#8217;s casual attire is part of a recovery plan for his depression. If that&#8217;s the case, it&#8217;s worrying. It&#8217;s important for politicians to take care of their mental health, but it&#8217;s equally important for them to be professional and transparent in their work. Republicans seem to be more preoccupied with SNAP requirements for hungry people than protecting taxpayers that have to bail out these banks.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Yesterday I tweeted this quote, provided to me by the Senator\u2019s office, without checking it against the video. That was my fault. Because you seem we were preoccupied, uh when, then SNAP requirements for works, for hungry people, but not about protecting the tax, the tax papers, you know, that will bail them out of whatever does about a bank to crash it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/john-fettermans-office-has-quietly-doctored-several-quotes-make-him-sound-more-coherent-review-fin\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Fox News<\/a> reported it found two other instances in which the transcript of Fetterman\u2019s remarks deviated significantly from the senator\u2019s actual statements, which were significantly less coherent.<\/p>\n<p>Considering that Fetterman only returned in the middle of April and has been easing back into his role as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/new-video-fetterman-shows-unfit-serve-senate-freaking-joke\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Pennsylvania\u2019s junior senator<\/a>, that represents a not-insignificant chunk of his remarks that have been rewritten by his staff so that he sounds more with it.<\/p>\n<p>What\u2019s next for Fetterman? Is he going to bring resistance bands onto the Senate floor and do exercises at his desk? While he\u2019s speaking?<\/p>\n<p>Maybe he can bring a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/270-pound-hs-student-will-tried-adult-allegedly-beating-teachers-aide-unconscious\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Nintendo Switch<\/a> in, too. I\u2019m sure his doctor could say it helps him rebuild his problem-solving capability \u2014 and, after all, \u201cThe Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom\u201d just came out. Is it OK if he plays it just outside the chamber door and ducks in whenever he has to vote \u201cyay\u201d or \u201cnay\u201d?<\/p>\n<p>Also, is it OK if we delay this vote for a few minutes until he beats this shrine? It\u2019s got him very frustrated \u2014 and you don\u2019t want to see John Fetterman really frustrated, now, do you?<\/p>\n<p>This is the mess you\u2019ve made, Pennsylvania voters.
