Lauren Boebert Introduces HR 3212 to Restore Gun Rights<\/h2>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cIt gets rid of all the unconstitutional laws passed under Nancy Pelosi and signed by (President) Joe Biden,\u201d a spokesman from Boebert\u2019s office told The Epoch Times.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-Colo.) has introduced HR 3212, the \u201cShall. Not. Be. Infringed. Act.,\u201d to restore what she considers to be rights lost under the Biden administration. The bill, introduced in the House on May 19, has 28 sponsors and is endorsed by Gun Owners of America (GOA) and the National Association for Gun Rights.<\/p>\n<h3>It&#8217;s Time for Congress to Act<\/h3>\n<p>Aidan Johnston, GOA\u2019s Director of Federal Affairs, said it\u2019s now up to Congress to act. \u201cThe House needs to vote; we\u2019re doing our part,\u201d Johnston told The Epoch Times.<\/p>\n<p>Boebert\u2019s bill would repeal a laundry list of gun laws enacted under Biden. At the top of the list is the law often cited by Democrats as the most <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/rep-boebert-sets-her-sights-on-repealing-all-gun-control-laws-signed-by-biden\/\" title=\"Boebert aims to repeal all Biden-signed gun control laws.\">significant gun-control legislation<\/a> in more than 30 years: the bipartisan Safer Communities Act. Boebert\u2019s Act would undo parts of the Bipartisan Safe Communities Act, such as redefining who is a \u201cgun seller.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>In a statement on its website, the GOA claims that redefining \u201cgun seller\u201d increases the number of Federal Firearms Licenses,\u00a0\u201cwhich became a backdoor way for the Biden Administration to impose Universal Background Registration Checks just as GOA predicted,\u201d the statement reads.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Gun control provisions in the Violence Against Women Reauthorization Act of 2022 (VAWA) would also be repealed. The Act would repeal the National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS) Denial Notification Act. Under this provision, a criminal investigation is launched when a firearm transfer is denied after a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/another-wave-of-portland-police-quit-amid-massive-spike-in-shootings-and-stabbings-fire-dept-responding-to-10-homeless-tent-fires-a-day\/\" title=\"Another Wave Of Portland Police Quit Amid Massive Spike In Shootings And Stabbings; Fire Dept. Correcting these false reports can take time and effort, according to GOA.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Joining the fight for gun rights, Boebert\u2019s bill is a step towards restoring the Second Amendment.
