In that email, he shares a number of instances of potential whistleblower retaliation, including one centered on a claim that the supervisor was passed over for a promotion that went to a less experienced individual after overtures were made to the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration and Congress.<\/p>\n<h3>Supervisor Plans to Appear Before Congress<\/h3>\n<p>Another email from the supervisor\u2019s lawyers, this one sent to Congress, says their client plans to appear before the House Ways and Means Committee on Friday.<\/p>\n<h3>Background on the Hunter Biden Investigation<\/h3>\n<p>Hunter Biden, the son of President Joe Biden, announced not long after the 2020 election that federal investigators were looking into his tax affairs.
