Lindsey Graham Calls Durham Report &#8220;Damning&#8221;<\/h2>\n<h3>Graham Argues FBI Became Political Tool<\/h3>\n<p>Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) has called special counsel John Durham&#8217;s report &#8220;damning,&#8221; stating that the FBI has become a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/despite-insistence-by-democrat-politicians-and-medical-elites-empirical-evidence-does-not-conclusively-show-that-masks-reduce-the-spread-of-covid\/\" title=\"Despite Insistence by Democrat Politicians and Medical Elites, Empirical Evidence DOES NOT Conclusively Show that Masks Reduce the Spread of COVID\">political tool<\/a> that &#8220;took the rule of law and threw it over to try to get a political outcome.&#8221; Speaking on WABC 770 AM&#8217;s &#8220;Cats Roundtable,&#8221; Graham said that it is a &#8220;very dangerous time&#8221; for America if a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/border-patrol-chief-resists-biden-i-cannot-comply-with-demand-to-use-non-legal-immigration-terms\/\" title=\"Border Patrol Chief Resists Biden: \u2018I Cannot\u2019 Comply With Demand To Use Non-Legal Immigration Terms\">federal law enforcement agency<\/a> is able to spread a &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/project-veritas-seeks-cnn-retraction-over-false-reporting\/\" title=\"Project Veritas seeks CNN retraction over false reporting\">false story<\/a>&#8221; about a U.S. presidential candidate and launch an investigation based on claims it knew were not reliable and &#8220;full of fiction.&#8221;<\/p>\n<h3>What Did We Learn from the Durham Report?<\/h3>\n<p>Graham stated that the FBI received a dossier called the Steel Dossier that was organized by two Russian agents, that was full of fiction, that was used to get a warrant against Carter Page. When the FBI was alerted that it may not be reliable, they went ahead anyway. The Department of Justice, the FBI, and the media colluded to sell this false story that Donald Trump was a Russian agent and his campaign was being run by Russia. The Durham report is damning. It shows the FBI became a political weapon. They wanted to get Trump. They didn&#8217;t care how they did it.<\/p>\n<h3>Double Standards in the FBI&#8217;s Treatment of Republicans and Democrats<\/h3>\n<p>Graham also believes there are double standards in the FBI&#8217;s treatment of Republicans and Democrats, arguing the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/republicans-promise-investigation-of-fbi-mar-a-lago-raid\/\" title=\"Republicans Promise Investigation Of FBI Mar-a-Lago Raid\">top law enforcement agency<\/a> is &#8220;covering up&#8221; the Hunter Biden laptop story while going after Trump with a very different attitude. Several Republicans, including Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) and Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.), have since called for Congress to target the budget of the FBI in light of Durham&#8217;s discovery.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sen.
