Doubles Down on Push for FBI Document<\/h3>\n<p>House Committee on Oversight and Accountability Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.) is demanding the FBI release a document that allegedly links Joe Biden to a pay-to<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/latest-developments-in-hunter-biden-probe-puts-spotlight-on-joe-biden-informant-claim-of-bribery\/\" title=\"Latest Developments in Hunter Biden Probe Puts Spotlight on Joe Biden, Informant Claim of Bribery\">-play bribery scheme<\/a> while he was vice president under President Barack Obama. Comer has stated that the FBI&#8217;s delay in producing the document is unacceptable and that the FBI must provide it to Congress without further delay.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Comer filed a subpoena to FBI Director Christopher Wray seeking an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/rep-comer-presses-fbi-on-biden-document-after-bureau-failed-to-comply-with-subpoena\/\" title=\"Comer urges FBI on Biden document after subpoena ignored.\">internal form called<\/a> an FD-1023, which recorded information from confidential human sources.<\/li>\n<li>The subpoena instructed the FBI to produce &#8220;all FD-1023 forms, including within any open, closed, or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/whistleblower-alleges-fbi-has-evidence-of-biden-engaging-in-bribery-scheme-with-foreign-national\/\" title=\"FBI has evidence of Biden's bribery scheme with foreign national, says whistleblower.\">restricted access case files<\/a>, created or modified in June 2020, containing the term &#8216;Biden&#8217;.&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>Instead of turning over the requested document, Christopher Dunham, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/reps-jordan-massie-ask-atf-director-to-testify-before-house-judiciary-committee\/\" title=\"Reps. Jordan, Massie Ask ATF Director to Testify Before House Judiciary Committee\">acting assistant director<\/a> for congressional affairs, wrote a letter to Comer on May 10 explaining the FBI&#8217;s confidentiality interests.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Comer has reiterated his demand in a letter to FBI Director Christopher Wray and has stated that some House Republicans have already signaled they would hold Wray in contempt of Congress after the FBI missed Comer&#8217;s subpoena deadline.
