During a recent House &#8220;Weaponization of Government&#8221; panel hearing, FBI Special Agent Garret O&#8217;Boyle spoke out about the &#8220;smear campaign&#8221; that was launched against him after he <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/fbi-whistleblowers-detail-egregious-abuse-retribution-from-politicized-bureau-house-report-says\/\" title=\"FBI whistleblowers report abuse and retaliation from politicized bureau, says House report.\">made protected whistleblower disclosures<\/a>. He also revealed that many agents support his allegations but are &#8220;too afraid&#8221; to speak out.<\/p>\n<p>O&#8217;Boyle went on to say that &#8220;too many in the FBI aren&#8217;t willing to sacrifice for the hard right over the easy wrong. They see what becomes of whistleblowers, how the FBI destroys their careers, suspends them under false pretenses, takes their security clearance and pay with no true options for real recourse or remedy. This is by design. It creates an Orwellian atmosphere that silences opposition and discussion.&#8221;<\/p>\n<h3>FBI Denies Retaliation<\/h3>\n<p>In response to the allegations, the FBI denied having acted in a retaliatory manner against whistleblowers. &#8220;The FBI&#8217;s mission is to uphold the Constitution and protect the American people,&#8221; an FBI spokesperson said. &#8220;The FBI has not and will not retaliate against individuals who <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/irs-whistleblower-alleges-hunter-biden-probe-misconduct\/\" title=\"IRS Whistleblower Alleges Hunter Biden Probe Misconduct\">make protected whistleblower disclosures<\/a>.&#8221;<\/p>\n<h3>Politicization and Targeting of Conservative Agents<\/h3>\n<p>O&#8217;Boyle, along with Special Agent Stephen Friend, Supervisory Intelligence Analyst George Hill, Staff Operations Specialist Marcus Allen, and other unnamed whistleblowers, have alleged that the FBI is beset by politicization and top officials are targeting agents for having <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/medical-student-claims-school-expelled-him-for-unprofessional-pro-life-views\/\" title=\"Medical Student Claims School Expelled Him For \u2018Unprofessional\u2019 Pro-Life Views\">conservative political beliefs<\/a>. A Judiciary panel report supports these claims.<\/p>\n<h3>Personal Struggles of Whistleblowers<\/h3>\n<p>The 78-page report by the House committee revealed that both O&#8217;Boyle and Friend were suspended indefinitely after <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/whistleblower-says-fbi-has-created-orwellian-atmosphere-to-silence-dissent\/\" title=\"FBI accused of creating oppressive environment to stifle dissent, says whistleblower.\">making disclosures<\/a> to Congress. O&#8217;Boyle was suspended during his first day on the job after being transferred from Kansas to Washington. He was forced to borrow clothing for his children as his family&#8217;s belongings were allegedly locked away in an FBI facility. Other whistleblowers testified about their personal struggles, including not being able to find employment elsewhere and struggling to support their loved ones and young children while their cases were being investigated.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I sacrificed my dream job to share this information with the American people,&#8221; Friend testified. &#8220;I humbly ask all the members to do your jobs and consider.&#8221;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>testimony that the FBI has created a stifling environment that punishes whistleblowers and suppresses dissent.
