This request fits within the time frame that Willis presented to law enforcement to warn them of violence or civil unrest following the announcement of charges.<\/p>\n<h3>Remote Work Requested<\/h3>\n<p>In a letter obtained by the New York Times, Willis respectfully requested that judges not schedule trials and in-person hearings during the weeks beginning Monday, August 7 and Monday, August 14. She also asked for several remote days for her staffers in the first three weeks of August. This remote work will reduce the number of Fulton County District Attorney\u2019s office staff in the Fulton County Courthouse and Government Center by approximately 70%.
