But it looks like Biden is about to make a move and withdraw Delaney&#8217;s nomination due to criticism from both Republicans and Democrats.<\/p>\n<h2>Why is Delaney so controversial?<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><b>He allegedly threatened to reveal the identity of a 16-year-old victim of sexual assault while defending St. Paul\u2019s School against her lawsuit.<\/b><\/li>\n<li><b>He signed a legal brief in 2005 backing a New Hampshire parental notification law for abortion, which raised concerns among Democrats.<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Senate Judiciary Committee skipped over a vote to advance Delaney to the full Senate, despite advancing six other nominees. A coalition of eight <a title=\"Biden withdraws judicial nominee due to strong opposition.\" href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/biden-to-pull-judicial-nominee-after-brutal-reception-reports\/\">progressive groups urged<\/a> the committee to reject his nomination, citing his unsuitable record for the lifetime appointment.<\/p>\n<p><b>Republican South Carolina Sen.
