Marjorie Taylor Greene Introduces Measure to Impeach President Biden<\/h2>\n<p>On May 18, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) announced during a press conference that she has introduced a measure to impeach President Joe Biden. This is not the first time Greene has introduced such a measure to Congress.<\/p>\n<h3>Why Greene is Calling for Impeachment<\/h3>\n<p>During the press conference, Greene stated, \u201cIt is with the highest amount of solemnity that I introduce articles of impeachment today on the head of this America Last executive branch that has been working since Jan. 20, 2021 to systematically destroy this country: the president of the United States, Joseph Robinette Biden.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In the articles (pdf), Greene wrote: \u201cIn his conduct as President of the United States, in\u00a0violation of his constitutional oath faithfully to execute the\u00a0office of the President of the United States, and, to the\u00a0best of his ability, preserve, protect, and defend, the Constitution of the United States, and in violation of his constitutional duty to take care that the laws be faithfully\u00a0executed, Joseph Robinette Biden abused the power of the\u00a0Office of the President by endangering the security of the\u00a0United States and thwarting the will of Congress as set\u00a0forth in duly enacted law.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Greene cited various policies of Biden\u2019s administration toward immigration, saying that Biden had refused to carry out the law and to protect American national security. She explained, \u201cJoe Biden has deliberately compromised our national security by refusing to enforce immigration laws and secure our border.\u201d She cited figures that more than <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/one-in-four-illegal-aliens-released-into-u-s-without-registration-number\/\" title=\"One in Four Illegal Aliens Released Into U.S. Without Registration Number\">6 million illegal aliens<\/a> have entered the United States under Biden\u2019s watch. \u201cHis administration has\u00a0willfully\u00a0refused to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/the-gop-is-planning-to-launch-impeachment-of-top-biden-official-report\/\" title=\"The GOP Is Planning To Launch Impeachment Of Top Biden Official: REPORT\">maintain operational control<\/a> as required by the law.\u201d<\/p>\n<h3>What This Means for Biden<\/h3>\n<p>While it is unlikely that this measure will lead to Biden\u2019s impeachment, it does highlight the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/rep-greene-introduces-measure-to-impeach-biden\/\" title=\"Greene proposes impeachment of Biden.\">ongoing political divide<\/a> in the United States.
