According to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/morgan-stanley-requests-employees-fulfill-diversity-quota-in-job-application-process\/\" title=\"Morgan Stanley Requests Employees Fulfill \u2018Diversity\u2019 Quota In Job Application Process\">whistleblower documents obtained<\/a> by City Journal\u2019s Christopher Rufo, the hospital inserted an implantable puberty blocker in multiple children, including at least one 11-year-old.<\/p>\n<h3>Continued Procedures Despite Legal Concerns<\/h3>\n<p>Despite legal and criminal liability concerns, the hospital has not stopped performing these procedures. In March of last year, Texas Children\u2019s Hospital executives announced that they would stop performing transgender medical procedures on minors. This was due to Governor Greg Abbott\u2019s directive to investigate cases of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/texas-childrens-hospital-performs-sex-change-procedures-on-children-as-young-as-11-report\/\" title=\"Texas Children's Hospital does sex change surgeries on kids as young as 11, says report.\">children receiving transgender medical intervention<\/a> as \u201cchild abuse.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>However, whistleblower documents obtained by City Journal show that the hospital has continued to perform these procedures. Dr. Richard Roberts, a pediatric endocrinologist at Texas Children\u2019s Hospital, is one of the doctors who performs transgender medical procedures on minors, medical records show. Roberts has reportedly treated many patients aged 12 to 17 for \u201cgender identity\u201d and \u201cgender dysphoria.\u201d<\/p>\n<h3>Implant Procedures on Multiple Children<\/h3>\n<p>Dr. Kristy Rialon, another doctor at the hospital, has inserted and removed a \u201cnon-biodegradable drug delivery implant\u201d for what the medical records said was \u201cgender dysphoria in pediatric patient.\u201d The report noted that she has done this for multiple children both this year and last year. One of those implant procedures was reportedly performed on an 11-year-old girl, described as a \u201cfemale-to-male transgender person.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The other children who got \u201cdrug delivery implants\u201d inserted by Rialon were 11, 12, 13, 14, and 15 years old, according to the medical records.<\/p>\n<h3>Encouraging Medical Interventions for Trans-Identifying Children<\/h3>\n<p>In January, Texas Children\u2019s Hospital teamed up with Baylor College of Medicine to host a presentation that promoted medical interventions for trans-identifying children to the hospital\u2019s doctors. The presentation, called \u201cMedical and Psychological Care of Gender-Diverse Youth,\u201d explains puberty blockers, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/very-complicated-dr-rachel-levine-dodges-sen-pauls-issue-about-sex-adjustments-for-children\/\" title=\"\u2018Very Complicated\u2019: Dr. Rachel Levine Dodges Sen. It encourages doctors to start children on puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones when they are adolescents.<\/p>\n<p>These procedures are typically reserved for adults, although there certainly are case-by-case basis by which adolescents do access some surgical options to help affirm their gender identity, the presenter says.<\/p>\n<h3>Alarming Statistics<\/h3>\n<p>It is more popular than ever for youth to adopt new gender identities. An estimated 300,000 minors aged 13 to 17 identified as transgender as of last year.
