Barr did not hold back when asked about how she was canceled by Hollywood in 2018 over critical tweets she posted about the Obama administration. One tweet about Valerie Jarrett drew accusations of racism that Barr denied were racist. While she apologized, the 2018 revival of \u201cRoseanne\u201d was quickly canceled. The show was replaced by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/actor-bryan-cranston-nailed-by-line-drive-at-all-star-celeb-softball-game\/\" title=\"Actor Bryan Cranston Nailed by Line Drive at All-Star Celeb Softball Game\">spinoff series \u201c<\/a>The Connors\u201d the next season.<\/p>\n<h3>Gilbert Betrayed Barr<\/h3>\n<p>Barr told Kelly that Gilbert, who played her daughter Darlene on \u201cRoseanne\u201d from 1988 to 1997, betrayed her and even joined a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/herschel-walker-responds-to-report-he-paid-for-womans-abortion-flat-out-lie\/\" title=\"Herschel Walker Responds To Report He Paid For Woman\u2019s Abortion: \u2018Flat-Out Lie\u2019\">campaign online<\/a> to cancel her. Barr said Gilbert had assured her she would be there for her no matter what if she came back and that she also acknowledged beforehand that she had been struggling with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/9-year-old-girl-pepper-sprayed-during-interaction-with-rochester-police\/\" title=\"9-Year-Old Girl Pepper Sprayed During Interaction With Rochester Police\">mental health issues<\/a>. But when Barr was attacked for her tweets, Gilbert joined in and condemned her.<\/p>\n<h3>ABC Tried to Send a Message<\/h3>\n<p>Barr said she felt ABC was trying to send her a message when \u201cThe Connors\u201d returned to the network but with her character having been killed off. \u201cThey just tried to kill me, and I felt like they killed my character and my character,\u201d Barr said of the people at the network. She concluded, \u201dI thought they were sending a message over the airwaves because they knew I had mental health issues. I thought they wanted me to kill myself, and all my friends did too. They said they\u2019re trying to push you to suicide.\u201d<\/p>\n<h3>Was it Right to Cancel the \u201cRoseanne\u201d Reboot?<\/h3>\n<p>Gilbert posted about the controversy on Twitter. \u201cIt was her tweet that canceled the show,\u201d Barr said. Barr said that in addition to Gilbert\u2019s joining the mob, she also spoke negatively about her on her CBS show \u201cThe Talk.\u201d<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Barr accused Gilbert of betrayal during an interview with Megyn Kelly<\/li>\n<li>Gilbert joined a campaign online to cancel Barr<\/li>\n<li>Barr felt ABC was trying to send her a message when \u201cThe Connors\u201d returned to the network with her character killed off<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>What do you think?
