The 68-year-old shared an image of a director&#8217;s chair in front of a stunning Western landscape, with the caption, &#8220;We&#8217;re deep into the production of #HorizonFilm, and, I have to tell you, I haven&#8217;t felt this way about a movie since we were making &#8216;Dances With Wolves.&#8217; Can&#8217;t wait to share it with all of you.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Horizon&#8221; was announced in January 2022 and marks Costner&#8217;s first time directing a movie in two decades. His last directorial debut was in 2003 with &#8220;Open Range.&#8221;<\/p>\n<h3>Costner&#8217;s Personal Life<\/h3>\n<p>Costner has also <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/entire-georgetown-mens-basketball-team-coach-kneel-for-national-anthem\/\" title=\"Entire Georgetown Men\u2019s Basketball Team, Coach Kneel For National Anthem\">made headlines recently<\/a> after his wife of 18 years, Christine Baumgartner, filed for divorce earlier this month. I&#8217;m like, &#8216;Really?&#8217; The show&#8217;s talking about the displacement of Native Americans and the way Native American women were treated and about corporate greed and the gentrification of the West, and land-grabbing.
