As The Federalist reported, this money entered the Bidens\u2019 coffers through a complicated scheme of layered transactions deposited into <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/nigerian-man-pleads-guilty-in-online-dating-money-laundering-scheme-feds-say\/\" title=\"Nigerian Man Pleads Guilty In Online Dating Money Laundering Scheme, Feds Say\">multiple bank accounts<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Biden could make this entire story go away if he had a good reason for why his family received $10 million from foreign entities. Surely, if they weren\u2019t corrupt, if this money came from non-sketchy and actually legitimate means, he could explain where this money came from and what services or goods his family exchanged to attain it. But this isn\u2019t the case, as we continue to learn, so he cannot explain away the money.<\/p>\n<h3>The Bidens&#8217; Corruption<\/h3>\n<p>Why did the Bidens receive this comically large sum of money? Well, no one really knows. But it probably has something to do with the fact that their last names are \u201cBiden\u201d and their family patriarch, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/biden-no-need-for-trump-to-still-receive-intelligence-briefings\/\" title=\"Biden: \u2018No Need\u2019 For Trump To Still Receive Intelligence Briefings\">incumbent president<\/a>, is one of the longest-serving federal officials in American history and has been able to avoid any meaningful public scrutiny for much of his career. As such, it increasingly appears the Bidens used their family\u2019s political and corporate connections to engage in an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/all-biden-has-to-do-is-explain-why-foreign-governments-paid-his-family-10-million-but-he-cant\/\" title=\"Biden needs to clarify why his family received  million from foreign governments, but he is unable to do so.\">elaborate foreign influence peddling scheme<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>But as was the case with Hunter Biden\u2019s role on the board of the Ukrainian energy company Burisma, where he was handsomely paid despite having zero energy sector experience, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/hemingway-what-did-foreign-companies-get-for-paying-biden-family\/\" title=\"Hemingway: What Did Foreign Companies Get For Paying Biden Family?\">corporate media continues<\/a> to downplay the first family\u2019s blatantly corrupt business dealings.<\/p>\n<h3>The GOP&#8217;s Responsibility<\/h3>\n<p>Considering the federal government, for at least the short and medium terms, simply will not touch the Biden family, this rules out most legitimate risks of prosecution they might face, even if House Republicans federally criminalize influence peddling. This means that, realistically, the only way to hold them accountable is through utilizing political mechanisms. As such, the GOP should make the Bidens\u2019 foreign benefactors central to their 2024 campaign messaging.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s obvious to everyone with functioning eyes and ears that Joe Biden is neurologically compromised, and it\u2019s obvious to everyone paying attention that he and his family are financially compromised, as well.<\/p>\n<h3>The Way Forward<\/h3>\n<p>Until there is a prosecutorial path forward, the GOP must proceed with political means and fill the airwaves in 2024 battleground states with messages amplifying how Joe Biden and his family sold out the country to enrich themselves.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Samuel Mangold-Lenett<\/strong> is a staff editor at The Federalist.
