The letter reads, \u201cHe was informed the change was at the request of the Department of Justice.\u201d<\/p>\n<h3>Political Interference in Criminal Investigation<\/h3>\n<p>Last month, Lytle sent a separate letter to several <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/explosive-whistleblower-points-to-biden-admin-obstructing-hunter-biden-tax-probe\/\" title=\"Journalist Points To Biden Hunter Income Probe Obstructing Hunter\">congressional committee chairs<\/a> with claims from the whistleblower of \u201cpolitical interference in the criminal investigation of a high-profile, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/biden-is-about-to-break-his-promise-not-to-raise-taxes-on-most-americans\/\" title=\"Biden Is About To Break His Promise Not To Raise Taxes On Most Americans\">politically connected individual<\/a>.\u201d The criminal case reportedly concerns Hunter Biden, the son of President Joe Biden, who has publicly admitted to being under criminal investigation for tax fraud since December 2020, according to Just the News.<\/p>\n<h3>Contradiction of Testimony<\/h3>\n<p>During his April 27 testimony before the House Committee on Ways and Means, IRS Commissioner Daniel Werfel claimed that there would be \u201cno retaliation for anyone making an allegation or a call to a whistleblower hotline.\u201d The DOJ\u2019s alleged decision to remove the whistleblower and his team from the case appears to contradict that testimony.<\/p>\n<h3>Request for Congressional Attention<\/h3>\n<p>In response to his client\u2019s dismissal from the Hunter Biden probe, Lytle is asking Congress to give the matter its \u201cprompt attention.\u201d The letter reads, \u201cRemoving the experienced investigators who have worked this case for years and are now the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/supreme-court-vacancy-could-actually-shrink-bidens-judicial-footprint\/\" title=\"Supreme Court Vacancy Could Actually Shrink Biden\u2019s Judicial Footprint\">subject-matter experts<\/a> is exactly the sort of issue our client intended to blow the whistle on to begin with.\u201d<\/p>\n<h3>Allegations of Preferential Treatment and Politics<\/h3>\n<p>The whistleblower\u2019s original letter to congressional committee chairs also calls into question claims from Attorney General Merrick Garland.
