This has fueled speculation about who he will choose as his running mate. <\/p>\n<p>According to an article from the 1945 website, the three leading candidates for Trump\u2019s vice president are all women. They include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Kari Lake:<\/strong> A former news anchor in Arizona who narrowly lost to Democrat Katie Hobbs in the Arizona gubernatorial election in 2022. Lake is described as a unique creature, spewing the hard right rhetoric that MAGA Nation finds so endearing, while doing so with the glitz and polish of a seasoned TV reporter.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (MTG):<\/strong> Known as a far-right Republican who has recently begun to gain more mainstream acceptance in the party. Greene is described as someone that Trump has his eye on as a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/trump-rules-out-pence-as-2024-running-mate-mike-committed-political-suicide\/\" title=\"Trump Rules Out Pence as 2024 Running Mate: \u201cMike Committed Political Suicide\u201d\">prospective running mate<\/a> with appeal in the newly-in-play Georgia.<\/li>\n<li><strong>South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem:<\/strong> When asked on CNN\u2019s \u201cState of the Union\u201d if she would be Trump\u2019s running mate replied, \u201cI would be shocked if he asked.\u201d However, Noem has remained loyal to Trump and is supporting his current run for president while maintaining her popularity as a conservative.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Trump campaign officials insist that the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/the-race-is-on-heres-what-trump-is-looking-for-in-possible-running-mate\/\" title=\"The race is on: Here\u2019s what Trump is looking for in possible running mate\">vice presidential search<\/a> is not something they have been actively discussing. In other words, they vote for the one person,\u201d Trump told NewsMax. <\/p>\n<p>At the time of the 2016 election, Pence was considered an ideal running mate. \u201cPence, a devout Christian, was credible amongst evangelicals who had serious character questions about Trump, the hard-talking New Yorker who boasted of grabbing women however he pleased,\u201d the 1945 article stated.<\/p>\n<p>AP stated that the primary quality Trump is looking for in a vice president is loyalty, especially as he has clearly felt disloyalty both from Pence in 2020 and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis right now.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am very disappointed in him because I\u2019m a loyal person, maybe to a fault. I\u2019m a loyal person, and somebody gets you into office and then you\u2019re telling people, \u2018Well, I don\u2019t know if I\u2019ll run against the president,\u2019\u201d Trump said of DeSantis according to the Washington Examiner. \u201cA lot of people said loyalty doesn\u2019t mean anything.
