She had medical complications after this happened, still,\u201d Kossick told WMUR. \u201cThey had no concern for her welfare at all. And frankly, I think they\u2019re very lucky that something worse didn\u2019t happen to her.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>  When offered a settlement deal by the state, Kossick reportedly just laughed and turned the deal down.<\/p>\n<p>   Will Eckersley be convicted?<\/p>\n<p>      \u201cThe state is correct. I did laugh,\u201d Kossick said. Prosecutors say they want prison time, but Kossick said after the hearing that prison time is not warranted.<\/p>\n<p> \u201cEverything is going great. There\u2019s nothing bad to say about her,\u201d Kossick stated. \u201cThe idea that this person who had a medical emergency should go to prison is laughable, and that\u2019s why I laughed.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>  George Theberge, Eckersley\u2019s then-boyfriend, was arrested in conjunction with the incident as well.<\/p>\n<p>   Since Eckersley\u2019s arrest, her defense team stated Eckersley is sober and finished all her rehabilitation programs. She sees her son twice a week, and he is doing great, according to the outlet.<\/p>\n<p> \u201cShe just saw him yesterday,\u201d Kossick told WMUR-TV. \u201cI\u2019ve seen tons of pictures of him.
