Comer.\">quid-pro-quo bribery scheme<\/a>. However, the informant linked to these accusations has gone missing, according to House Oversight and Accountability Committee Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.).<\/p>\n<h3>Missing Informant<\/h3>\n<p>Comer made the statement during an interview with Fox News\u2019 Maria Bartiromo on May 14. He referenced an FBI informant\u2019s report, called an FD-1023, that the FBI allegedly has in its possession. The whistleblower who shared the report\u2019s existence with Sen. Chuck Grassley\u2019s (R-Iowa) office is very credible, according to Comer. However, the FBI has not been forthcoming with information about the investigation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd they send us back a very patronizing letter basically saying, \u2018Just trust us. Don\u2019t worry about it,\u2019\u201d Comer said.<\/p>\n<h3>Intimidation and Discrediting<\/h3>\n<p>Comer also charged that whistleblowers were being intimidated and discredited by Biden\u2019s lawyers, the White House, and the media. He added that he knew who specifically at the White House was engaging in that intimidation but was saving revealing that information for \u201ca later time.\u201d<\/p>\n<h3>Lack of Cooperation<\/h3>\n<p>In an effort to obtain the report detailing alleged Biden\u2019s crimes, Comer subpoenaed the FBI on May 3 for all FD-1023s containing the word \u201cBiden\u201d that were created or modified in June 2020 and asked for an explanation of whether the allegations had been investigated. The agency failed to comply.<\/p>\n<p>Instead of providing the required documents, Christopher Dunham, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/reps-jordan-massie-ask-atf-director-to-testify-before-house-judiciary-committee\/\" title=\"Reps. Jordan, Massie Ask ATF Director to Testify Before House Judiciary Committee\">acting assistant director<\/a> of the FBI\u2019s Office of Congressional Affairs, sent Comer a letter on May 10 explaining the bureau\u2019s \u201cparticularly strong interests in protecting the integrity and confidentiality of such <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/u-s-customs-and-border-protection-deletes-its-reports-about-potential-terrorist-arrest-in-arizona\/\" title=\"U.S. Customs and Border Protection Deletes Its Reports about \u2018Potential Terrorist\u2019 Arrest in Arizona\">law enforcement sensitive information<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n<h3>New Developments<\/h3>\n<p>Prior to receiving Dunham\u2019s letter on May 10, Comer announced new developments in the Oversight Committee\u2019s Biden family probe.
