The family&#8217;s lawyers believe they will win the case and vindicate Liam&#8217;s right to free speech.<\/p>\n<h3>Standing Up for Beliefs<\/h3>\n<p>Liam, a 7th grader, has received support from his classmates and encourages others to speak up for their beliefs. &#8220;Always fight for what you believe in and, well, never let anyone stop you from believing really,&#8221; he said. &#8220;To be honest, in the place that we live, or in the time that we live, there are a lot of people that try and make it so that you&#8217;re not allowed to believe what you can. But, it&#8217;s being taken away from us. And being able to speak up not just about your own &#8230; being able to voice your opinion.&#8221;<\/p>\n<h3>Legal Battle Ahead<\/h3>\n<p>The next step for the Morrison family is a summons to federal court. The family&#8217;s lawyers believe that Liam did everything correctly and did not harass or disrupt anyone. They argue that the school censored Liam because of his political and cultural viewpoint on an issue that is currently being debated in the public square.
