Twenty minutes later, MSNBC had declared the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/watch-msnbc-takes-less-than-half-hour-to-declare-300-page-durham-report-a-nothingburger\/\" title=\"MSNBC declares Durham Report a \"nothingburger\" in under 30 minutes.\">320-page report bunk<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The probe that Trump promised would uncover \u2026 the crime of the century,&#8221; MSNBC host Nicole Wallace declared, &#8220;may have instead <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/roger-stone-announces-he-will-sue-those-who-arrested-him-and-put-him-in-front-of-a-kangaroo-court\/\" title=\"Roger Stone Announces He Will Sue Those Who Arrested Him and Put Him In Front of a Kangaroo Court\">found evidence<\/a> of Donald Trump committing more crimes.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>But before you take Wallace&#8217;s word for it, take a few more minutes to pore over Durham\u2019s report. The report found that the bureau did not have sufficient basis to open a July 2016 investigation into the Trump campaign\u2019s ties to Russia. The report slams the FBI\u2019s failure to vet the infamous Steele dossier, which falsely alleged a &#8220;well<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/biden-nominee-skates-through-confirmation-hearing-without-facing-questions-about-her-handling-of-steele-dossier\/\" title=\"Biden Nominee Skates Through Confirmation Hearing Without Facing Questions About Her Handling Of Steele Dossier\">-developed conspiracy<\/a> of coordination&#8221; between the Trump campaign and Russia.<\/p>\n<p>Durham, who called the report\u2019s findings &#8220;sobering,&#8221; also noted the FBI did not open a similar investigation into the Hillary Clinton campaign\u2019s attempts to paint Trump as a Russian agent. His report contradicts the earlier findings of former Special Counsel Robert Mueller, who in 2019 claimed the bureau\u2019s probe stood on solid ground.<\/p>\n<h3>MSNBC&#8217;s History of Promoting Conspiracy Theories<\/h3>\n<p>This is not the first time Wallace used her platform to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/morgan-ortagus-grills-schiff-over-steele-dossier-you-spread-disinformation-yourself-for-years\/\" title=\"Morgan Ortagus Grills Schiff Over Steele Dossier: You \u2018Spread Disinformation Yourself For Years\u2019\">promote conspiracy theories<\/a> about collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia. In 2018, she defended the Steele dossier, claiming that &#8220;whole big parts of it are holding up.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>But Durham and other investigators have debunked much of the dossier, which was funded by the Clinton campaign. Investigators found that the primary source for the dossier fabricated some of the information in the dossier. The FBI failed to verify any of its salacious claims, such that the Kremlin had a sex video of Donald Trump.<\/p>\n<h3>Don&#8217;t Be Fooled<\/h3>\n<p>Don&#8217;t be fooled by the speed readers at MSNBC.
