Prompted by one of the state stenographers posing as a journalist, he decried America\u2019s racist roads, trains, bridges, and rivers.<\/p>\n<p>You probably didn\u2019t know that inanimate objects could be White Supremacist\u2122. Thank heavens government bureaucrats are here to educate us.<\/p>\n<h3>The &#8220;Racist Infrastructure&#8221; Talking Point<\/h3>\n<p>According to Whitehouse.gov, from the May 12 press briefing, Landrieu stated that &#8220;equity is really important to the President of the United States for the very simple reason that he thinks that unless we go forward together, it\u2019s hard to go forward at all.&#8221; He also mentioned that &#8220;diversity is a great strength, not a weakness,&#8221; and that &#8220;there are, in fact, highways, waterways, roadways \u2014 if you ask anybody in the African American community or communities of color, &#8216;Where do you live?&#8217;, they will often say, &#8216;I live on the other side of\u2026&#8217; \u2014 and it\u2019s usually a railroad track or water or a highway that split historic neighborhoods.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The &#8220;racist infrastructure&#8221; talking point isn\u2019t new. Biden\u2019s &#8220;infrastructure bill,&#8221; which actually never had much to do with infrastructure at all, was instead a smattering of Social Justice\u2122 identity-based social engineering projects packaged and sold as &#8220;infrastructure.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>According to NPR, in his $2 trillion plan to improve America\u2019s infrastructure, President Biden is promising to address the racism ingrained in historical transportation and urban planning. Biden\u2019s plan includes $20 billion for a program that would &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/another-2-trillion-here-are-the-key-components-of-bidens-massive-infrastructure-plan\/\" title=\"Another  Trillion: Here Are The Key Components of Biden\u2019s Massive Infrastructure Plan\">reconnect neighborhoods cut<\/a> off by historic investments,&#8221; according to the White House. It also looks to target &#8220;40 percent of the benefits of climate and clean infrastructure investments to disadvantaged communities.&#8221;<\/p>\n<h3>Why Poison the Well?<\/h3>\n<p>Rebuilding America\u2019s crumbling infrastructure is probably a project the vast majority of Americans of all races could get behind. If the federal government has any legitimate function, after all, is it not building roads and bridges that facilitate travel and commerce between states as well as internationally?<\/p>\n<p>Why poison the well by injecting Social Justice\u2122 talking points into the program? It\u2019s increasingly clear that the social engineers are obsessed with worsening racial animosities, not healing them \u2014 presumably so that the new-age oligarchs can slip out the back door with all the cash while the peasants fight among themselves. Classic divide-and-conquer stuff.<\/p>\n<h3>The Shift in Civil Rights Ethos<\/h3>\n<p>Until the last decade or so, America had made substantial progress pursuing the ideal that MLK Jr. espoused: a nation in which people are judged by the content of their character, irrespective of race or other immutable characteristics.<\/p>\n<p>At some point, it seems that, in the service of rolling back any progress on the race relations front, the civil rights ethos of the left shifted away from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/conservative-leaders-rally-around-rick-scotts-11-point-plan-to-rescue-america\/\" title=\"Conservative Leaders Rally Around Rick Scott\u2019s \u201911-Point Plan to Rescue America\u2019\">color-blind equality<\/a> into color-obsessed, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/dhs-suggests-opposition-to-covid-19-restrictions-could-make-someone-a-domestic-terrorism-threat\/\" title=\"DHS Suggests Opposition To COVID-19 Restrictions Could Make Someone A Domestic Terrorism Threat\">grievance-based<\/a> &#8220;restorative justice&#8221; policies like the proposed white business tax in Denver by a self-described &#8220;democratic socialist&#8221; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/far-left-cheers-as-homeless-group-seizes-hotel-near-tacoma-city-leaders-negotiating-with-group-as-police-refuse-to-intervene\/\" title=\"Far Left Cheers As Homeless Group Seizes Hotel Near Tacoma; City Leaders Negotiating With Group As Police Refuse To Intervene\">city council member<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>They understand well that such projects will inevitably generate resentment among the majority-white (for now) population, which will in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/biden-infrastructure-coordinator-decries-racist-roads-trains-and-rivers\/\" title=\"Biden's Infrastructure Coordinator denounces racist transportation.\">turn promote white grievance-based politics<\/a> (not wholly illegitimate, in my view, but nonetheless destructive in a multi-ethnic society) and the country will degenerate into racial warfare.<\/p>\n<h3>Conclusion<\/h3>\n<p>While it&#8217;s important to address historical injustices and ensure equity in infrastructure development, injecting Social Justice\u2122 talking points into the program may only serve to worsen racial animosities.
