The Democrat-controlled Senate Judiciary Committee even held a hearing on &#8220;ethics reform&#8221; despite the glaring factual omissions and misrepresentations in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/exclusive-audio-think-tanks-star-lawsuit-witness-admits-to-tommy-robinson-that-they-bribed-him-for-testimony-against-us-congressional-staffer\/\" title=\"EXCLUSIVE AUDIO: Think Tank\u2019s Star Lawsuit Witness Admits to Tommy Robinson That They Bribed Him For Testimony Against US Congressional Staffer\">hit pieces<\/a>. The goal of this <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/conservative-charged-with-election-interference-for-social-media-post\/\" title=\"Conservative charged with election interference for social media post\">disinformation campaign<\/a> is to delegitimize the Supreme Court and pave the way for ruinous policies that would irreparably damage the institution.<\/p>\n<h3>The Facts<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>ProPublica published pieces alleging ethical improprieties regarding Justice Clarence Thomas&#8217; friendship with billionaire real estate tycoon Harlan Crow, but there is nothing wrong with a Supreme Court justice having a long-running friendship with a wealthy political activist.<\/li>\n<li>Politico alleged a conflict of interest for Justice Neil Gorsuch in an old <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/chinese-buyers-spent-a-record-6-1b-on-u-s-real-estate-in-2021\/\" title=\"Chinese Buyers Spent a Record .1B on U.S. Real Estate in 2021\">real estate transaction<\/a>, but his stake in the underlying Colorado property was via a LLC, so he did not skirt any mandatory disclosure rules.<\/li>\n<li>Business Insider relied on a &#8220;whistleblower&#8221; to allege corruption on the part of Jane Roberts, the wife of Chief Justice John G. Roberts, due to her being a well-compensated legal recruiter, but prominent legal recruiters can rake in lucrative commissions.<\/li>\n<li>The New York Times ran a lengthy and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/josh-hammer-the-great-left-wing-disinformation-operation-against-the-supreme-court\/\" title=\"Josh Hammer exposes the left's disinformation campaign against the Supreme Court.\">meandering front-page story<\/a> about the at-times coziness between George Mason University&#8217;s Antonin Scalia Law School and some of the Court&#8217;s right-of-center justices, but it is little more than a pitiful lament that the Left does not unilaterally control every single top-50 law school in America.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The disinformation operation is a big, crass intimidation tactic to browbeat the justices into ruling the Left&#8217;s way in this term&#8217;s marquee cases. The end goal is to pack the court with liberal justices and destroy the institution.<\/p>\n<h3>Defending the Supreme Court<\/h3>\n<p>It is necessary for those of us who can speak up to defend the integrity, independence, and institutional durability of the Supreme Court.
