The plan would be especially beneficial to those on Pell Grants, which are given to college students who <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/dem-budget-would-hand-out-cash-to-students-at-tuition-free-colleges\/\" title=\"Dem Budget Would Hand Out Cash to Students at Tuition-Free Colleges\">display exceptional financial<\/a> need.<\/p>\n<h3>Student Loans on Pause<\/h3>\n<p>Student loans have been on pause since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic and are set to resume 60 days after either June 30 or when the Supreme Court rules on Biden&#8217;s student loan forgiveness plan, whichever comes sooner.<\/p>\n<h3>Republican Concerns<\/h3>\n<p>House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY) and House Education and Workforce Committee Chairwoman Virginia Foxx (R-NC) expressed concern about possible fraud in the Department of Education&#8217;s new <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/joe-biden-blasts-gop-over-opposition-to-student-loan-forgiveness-plan\/\" title=\"Biden criticizes GOP for opposing student loan forgiveness.\">income-driven repayment policies<\/a> for student loans.
