Ukrainian singer Julia Sanina is a presenter, alongside Hannah Waddingham, star of theatre and TV show \u201cTed Lasso\u201d, pop singer Alesha Dixon and TV star Graham Norton.<\/p>\n<p>Fans arriving at the arena on the banks of the river Mersey were draped in the flags of Ukraine, Britain and the other 24 contenders.<\/p>\n<p>The arena can hold about 6,000 plus many thousand more can watch in a fan zone.<\/p>\n<p>Pam Minto, a 37-year-old support worker from Liverpool, said she was proud of her city and hoped it was doing Ukraine proud. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019ve just loved the whole event right across Liverpool from start to finish, it\u2019s just been amazing,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>Ukrainian Anastasiia Iovova, a 31-year-old teacher who is currently living in Leeds, northern England, said Liverpool felt like home abroad.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re so proud to be here, so proud that people in UK are supporting us in everything and we are so grateful about this,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>The winner is decided by a combination of points awarded by juries and viewers in each competing country, plus for the first time viewers in other countries, who will carry the weight of one participating country.<\/p>\n<h2>Other Headlines:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>As Title 42 expires and the United States sees mass illegal immigration from Mexico and South America, the influx of Chinese migrants is going under the radar and poses more of a security risk than many people realize.<\/li>\n<li>Following Tucker Carlson\u2019s ousting at Fox, new plans to take his show to Twitter are causing tensions with the outlet; and there\u2019s mixed reaction as Elon Musk appoints World Economic Forum\u2019s Linda Yaccarino as new Twitter CEO.<\/li>\n<li>With the rise of transgenderism in women\u2019s sports, NCAA swimmer Riley Gaines and Olympian Inga Thompson are calling on more <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/growing-calls-for-more-female-athletes-to-speak-out-against-men-in-womens-sports\/\" title=\"More female athletes urged to speak out against men in women's sports.\">professional women athletes<\/a> to promote fairness and reject men in women\u2019s sports.<\/li>\n<li>This week has been filled with major headlines in the U.S. and around the world.
