According to Sharon Toney-Finch, CEO of the Yerik Israel Toney Foundation, 20 homeless veterans were told to end their stay early at hotels near New York City and find somewhere else to go.<\/p>\n<h3>Veterans Moved to Make Room for Migrants<\/h3>\n<p>Toney-Finch said that 15 veterans were kicked out of Crossroads Hotel in Newburgh, and five others were moved from a Super 8 and a Hampton Inn and Suites in Middletown. New York City Mayor Eric Adams has been moving migrants, many of whom crossed illegally into the U.S. and are <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/watch-democrat-mayor-begs-biden-to-stop-release-of-migrants-into-texas\/\" title=\"WATCH: Democrat Mayor Begs Biden To Stop Release Of Migrants Into Texas\">awaiting court dates<\/a>, to Orange County, where both Middletown and Newburgh are located, because the Big Apple has seen such an influx of migrants.<\/p>\n<h3>Trust in Foundation Damaged<\/h3>\n<p>Toney-Finch, whose <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/clinton-foundation-donations-have-fallen-nearly-75-since-2016\/\" title=\"Clinton Foundation Donations Have Fallen Nearly 75% Since 2016\">foundation works<\/a> with homeless and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/homeless-veterans-kicked-out-of-hotels-to-allow-migrants-to-move-in-support-group-says\/\" title=\"Support group claims homeless veterans evicted from hotels for migrants.\">low-income veterans<\/a>, said she received calls from some of the veterans after they were told they would need to move out. Veterans moved out include those who fought in Vietnam and Afghanistan. \u201cHe [one veteran] told me he had to leave because the hotel said the extended stay is not available. Then I got another call. We didn\u2019t waste any time,\u2019\u2019 Tony-Finch told the Post. \u201cThat\u2019s when we started on Monday to organize when and where to move them all.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Toney-Finch said that they were in the process of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/nycs-homeless-livid-as-illegal-immigrants-given-shelters-with-tvs-xboxes-culturally-appropriate-meals\/\" title=\"NYC\u2019s Homeless Livid as Illegal Immigrants Given Shelters With TV\u2019s, Xboxes, \"Culturally Appropriate\" Meals\">finding permanent housing<\/a> for the veterans, who she arranged to move to a hotel in Hudson Valley, but that the veteran\u2019s trust in the foundation was damaged because of the move. \u201cNow we have to work from ground zero.
