They claim to have been victims of bullying, verbal abuse, and retaliation from high-level producers. The employees further stated that complaining to human resources made no difference in their situation.<\/p>\n<h3>Blame Placed on Executive Producer<\/h3>\n<p>The staffers agreed that Clarkson herself did not contribute to the negative atmosphere and insinuated that she wasn\u2019t aware of it. Instead, they placed most of the blame on the talk show\u2019s executive producer, Alex Duda, who one staffer referred to as \u201ca monster.\u201d<\/p>\n<h3>Allegations of Bullying and Unprofessional Behavior<\/h3>\n<p>The anonymous staffers also claimed that they were overworked and underpaid. They found the job to be \u201ctraumatizing to their mental health.\u201d Producers under Duda bullied other employees, with one quitting after a producer \u201cyelled and cursed at them multiple times on stage.\u201d A <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/the-kelly-clarkson-show-accused-of-being-toxic-work-environment-by-unnamed-staffers\/\" title=\"Unnamed staff members accuse 'The Kelly Clarkson Show' of being a toxic work environment.\">production manager allegedly threw<\/a> a stapler across the room and \u201cwould speak in a way that you\u2019re not supposed to in a professional environment \u2014 cursing, raising his voice, and throwing a huge temper tantrum,\u201d per the sources.<\/p>\n<h3>Clarkson Unaware of Staff&#8217;s Unhappiness<\/h3>\n<p>Another staffer said Clarkson has \u201cno clue how unhappy\u201d her staff is and claimed Duda \u201cshields\u201d the \u201cAmerican Idol\u201d winner from their complaints on purpose.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cKelly is fantastic. She is a person who never treats anyone with anything but dignity and is incredibly appreciative,\u201d one person told Rolling Stone. \u201cI would be shocked if she knew. I\u2019d be floored if she knew the staff wasn\u2019t getting paid for two weeks of Christmas hiatus. The Kelly that I interacted with and that everyone knows would probably be pretty aghast to learn that.\u201d<\/p>\n<h3>Previous Allegations Against Duda<\/h3>\n<p>\u201cI have a friend who\u2019s an executive producer who warned me about taking this job because apparently [Duda] has done this on every show she\u2019s worked on,\u201d another staffer said.
