Trump, the frontrunner for the Republican nomination, was presented with the question by CNN moderator Kaitlan Collins at the live, televised event held in New Hampshire.<\/p>\n<p>The former president responded that he\u2019d only accept the results on one condition. \u201cYeah, if I think it\u2019s an honest election, absolutely,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Collins didn\u2019t accept his response and pressed on whether the former president would still accept the results regardless of the outcome. \u201cIf I think it\u2019s an honest election, I would be honored to,\u201d Trump responded.<\/p>\n<h3>Trump on 2020 Election<\/h3>\n<p>At the town hall, Trump reiterated his belief that the 2020 election was \u201crigged.\u201d He noted that his loss was due to multiple factors not limited to voter fraud, but also the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/trump-says-he-would-accept-2024-election-results-if-its-an-honest-election\/\" title=\"Trump will accept 2024 election results if it's honest.\">social media forces working<\/a> against him leading up to the election, as well as a controversial letter signed by intel veterans that pushed against the Hunter Biden laptop story at the time, calling it Russian disinformation.<\/p>\n<p>An ex-CIA official later said the Biden campaign was behind the letter. Yesterday, a new congressional report revealed that a CIA official helped recruit people to sign the letter.<\/p>\n<p>Throughout the town hall on Wednesday, Trump refused to say that the 2020 election was not rigged. \u201cYou and your supporters lost more than 60 court cases on the election,\u201d Collins told Trump. \u201cIt\u2019s been nearly two and a half years. Can you publicly acknowledge that you did lose the 2020 election?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In response, Trump told Collins that there has been video evidence of ballot boxes being stuffed. \u201cThey found millions of votes on camera, on government cameras, where they were <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/shocker-amazons-a-hypocrite-on-mail-in-ballots\/\" title=\"Shocker\u2013Amazon\u2019s a Hypocrite on Mail-in Ballots\">stuffing ballot boxes<\/a>. So with all of that, I think it\u2019s a shame what happened. I think it\u2019s a very sad thing for our country. I think it\u2019s a very sad thing, frankly, for the world because if you look at what\u2019s gotten to our country, our country has gone to hell.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>During the question and answer session, he also continued to refer to the 2020 election as being a stolen one. \u201cWhen you look at what happened during that election, unless you\u2019re a very stupid person, you see what happened,\u201d Trump said. \u201cIt was a rigged election, and it was a shame that we had to go through it.\u201d<\/p>\n<h3>First Major Televised Event of 2024 Presidential Campaign<\/h3>\n<p>The CNN forum marked the first <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/trump-lays-out-2024-policy-agenda-at-cnn-town-hall\/\" title=\"Trump shares 2024 policy plan at CNN event.\">major televised event<\/a> of the 2024 presidential campaign. It was also Trump\u2019s first interview appearance on CNN since before he became president in 2016.
