Lundgren was told he had six tumors in his kidneys and liver and that he only had \u201ctwo to three years\u201d left to live.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u201cAt that point, it started to hit me that this is kind of something serious,\u201d the \u201cRocky IV\u201d actor said.<\/li>\n<li>After a scan to prepare for surgery, Dolph said \u201cthe surgeon called me and said, \u2018No, it\u2019s grown now. It\u2019s too big. We can\u2019t take it out.\u2019 It\u2019s like the size of like a small lemon.\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>A Second Opinion<\/h3>\n<p>However, not ready to give up all hope, he decided to seek a second opinion. The second opinion would come from Dr. Alexandra Drakaki, who noticed something unusual about the tumor and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/after-the-military-sets-new-regulations-for-transgender-service-members-these-physical-and-mental-conditions-will-still-disqualify-you-from-enlisting\/\" title=\"After The Military Sets New Regulations For Transgender Service Members, These Physical And Mental Conditions Will Still Disqualify You From Enlisting\">prescribed medication<\/a> that had success with shrinking mutations in tumors, which is exactly what happened. Lundgren said the tumor had shrunk by 90% by the end of 2022.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u201cI used to say his cancer is melting away,\u201d Drakaki laughed. \u201cThere are certain parts of his body that the cancer is responding really well. There\u2019s some lesions that we cannot see them anymore. So that is above expectations.\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Grateful for Life<\/h3>\n<p>And now the Hollywood star said he \u201cappreciates life a lot more\u201d and feels \u201clucky to be alive,\u201d Page Six noted.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lundgren is engaged to fianc\u00e9e Emma Krokdal, 25.
