Ralph Norman (R-S.C.) expressed his disappointment but not surprise over the verdict finding former President Donald Trump liable for defamation. The verdict came after author E. Jean Carroll accused Trump of raping her in a New York City department store dressing room in the late 1990s. While the jury did not conclude that Trump had raped Carroll, they did find him <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/biden-gun-policies-concern-second-amendment-advocates\/\" title=\"Biden gun policies concern Second Amendment advocates\">civilly liable<\/a> for battery and defamation for publicly denying the incident.<\/p>\n<p>Norman believes that it was unlikely for Trump to get a fair jury verdict in New York, which overwhelmingly votes Democratic. He also does not believe that the verdict renders Trump unfit to serve, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/rep-ralph-norman-responds-to-trump-verdict-biden-probe-debt-limit-standoff\/\" title=\"Ralph Norman reacts to Trump verdict, Biden investigation, and debt limit standoff.\">citing past politically-tinged allegations<\/a> against the former president.<\/p>\n<p>Trump&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/johnny-depp-to-be-called-back-to-stand-today-as-explosive-trial-winds-down-report\/\" title=\"Johnny Depp To Be Called Back To Stand Today As Explosive Trial Winds Down: Report\">legal team plans<\/a> to appeal the Carroll case.<\/p>\n<h3>Biden Family Probe<\/h3>\n<p>After defending Trump, Norman raised new claims of a potential money laundering scheme between foreign governments and members of Democratic President Joe Biden\u2019s family. Republicans in the House of Representatives alleged that millions of dollars flowed from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/microsoft-president-solarwinds-hack-biggest-ever\/\" title=\"Microsoft President: SolarWinds hack biggest ever\">private corporations<\/a> and foreign governments, including China and Romania, to nearly two dozen Limited Liability Corporations (LLCs) established by Biden family members.<\/p>\n<p>Norman praised House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.) for uncovering the information, stating that lawmakers have learned of 152 suspicious activity reports (SARs) associated with the Bidens.<\/p>\n<h3>Norman&#8217;s Take<\/h3>\n<p>Norman believes that the allegations against Trump and the Biden family are <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/breaking-kyle-rittenhouse-finally-released-on-2-million-cash-bond\/\" title=\"BREAKING: Kyle Rittenhouse FINALLY Released on  Million Cash Bond\">politically motivated<\/a> and part of a larger effort to discredit Republicans.
