In a three-minute video he tweeted, Carlson stated that there aren&#8217;t many platforms left that allow free speech, and the last big one remaining in the world is Twitter. He gave few details about the &#8220;new version&#8221; of his former Fox program but added that they will be bringing some other things too, which they will tell viewers about later.<\/p>\n<h3>Twitter CEO Elon Musk Clarifies<\/h3>\n<p>Twitter CEO Elon Musk clarified that the platform signed no official agreement with Carlson, which could have potentially violated the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/newly-released-jan-6-footage-shows-non-uniformed-officers-urging-pro-trump-protesters-to-go-to-the-capitol\/\" title=\"Newly Released Jan 6 Footage Shows \"Non-Uniformed\" Officers Urging Pro-Trump Protesters to Go to the Capitol\">cable news host&#8217;<\/a>s contract with Fox. The exact reasons for Carlson&#8217;s abrupt departure from Fox News remain unknown. Carlson&#8217;s last public appearance before going off the air was in the outskirts of Washington, D.C. Meanwhile, leftists celebrated, and a far-left member of Congress cheered &#8220;deplatforming works.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez told her 8.6 million followers on Instagram, &#8220;Tucker Carlson is out at Fox News. Couldn&#8217;t have happened to a better guy. Deplatforming works and it is important, and there you go.
