In a social media post on Monday morning, Favre called for a boycott of the network in response to the sidelining of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/how-the-left-wing-media-promoted-a-baseless-covid-conspiracy-theory\/\" title=\"How The Left-Wing Media Promoted A Baseless COVID Conspiracy Theory\">prime time host<\/a> Tucker Carlson and revelations that the media giant is working to silence him until after the 2024 election.<\/p>\n<h3>Favre Stands with Tucker<\/h3>\n<p>&#8220;I&#8217;m with Tucker. Time to boycott Fox until they come to their senses and let the man speak,&#8221; Favre wrote in his post. He also shared a clip of Megyn Kelly blasting Fox News, in which she warns viewers that the media giant is &#8220;banking&#8221; on them coming back to the network when the primaries begin to heat up.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Kelly explained:<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;They are banking on you coming back to them. They&#8217;ve got a debate in August. You can&#8217;t resist. You&#8217;ll go. You&#8217;ll forgive everything. They&#8217;re banking on it. DeSantis is likely to announce this month. You&#8217;re gonna turn on Fox News. You can&#8217;t go to CNN. You&#8217;re not gonna go to Newsmax. You&#8217;re not going to go to digital media. You&#8217;re gonna tune in to the Fox News primetime, you lap dogs. It&#8217;s what you always do. It&#8217;s how they have billions.&#8221;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>As Breitbart News recently reported, Fox News executives are reportedly seeking to sideline Carlson through the 2024 presidential election as part of their attempt to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/green-bay-packers-star-brett-favre-calls-for-boycott-of-fox-news-im-with-tucker\/\" title=\"Brett Favre supports Tucker, urges boycott of Fox News.\">supposedly reassert control<\/a> of the network. Carlson&#8217;s contract runs through the 2024 presidential election, but sources say that Carlson is trying to negotiate an exit package.<\/p>\n<h3>Carlson Fights for His Freedom to Speak Out<\/h3>\n<p>Despite the series of seemingly strategic leaks to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/its-irregular-migration-not-illegal-state-department-says\/\" title=\"It\u2019s \u2018Irregular Migration,\u2019 Not \u2018Illegal,\u2019 State Department Says\">leftist media outlets<\/a> such as Media Matters and the New York Times, conservatives are not turning against the former prime time host. A recent survey from The Economist\/YouGov found a plurality viewing Carlson at least somewhat favorably. Most Republicans and Trump 2020 voters, 68 percent and 72 percent respectively, feel the same way.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Carlson is reportedly gearing up to attack Fox News and fight for his freedom to speak out and continue his career elsewhere.
