However, that line of respect and proper etiquette has been lost as the sport has modernized with the rest of the world.<\/p>\n<h3>Learning from Mistakes<\/h3>\n<p>Stewart also talked about how drivers used to handle mistakes on the track. &#8220;They turned you around and backed you in the fence, and when you\u2019re sitting there, sliding down the racetrack or stopped \u2026 you have that time to go, \u2018I think I made a mistake,\u2019 and you had to figure it out, but that\u2019s how you learn,&#8221; he said. <\/p>\n<p>Stewart is currently a Fox Sports NASCAR analyst while also operating racetracks.
