Popular pop-punk band Sum 41 has announced that they are breaking up after 27 years together. I\u2019ll be rooting for you!\u201d another user wrote.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Canadian punk band shot to popularity in 2001 with its debut studio album \u201cAll Killer No Filler.\u201d It included the popular hit single \u201cFat Lip,\u201d which spent 60 weeks on the Billboard charts, \u201cIn Too Deep,\u201d and \u201cMotivation.\u201d All Killer No Filler was certified platinum in both the United States and the United Kingdom and went triple platinum in Canada.<\/p>\n<p>Their songs made it onto soundtracks for movies of the era, including \u201cBring It On,\u201d \u201cAmerican Pie 2,\u201d and \u201cDude, Where\u2019s My Car?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Sum 41\u2019s current members include frontman Deryck Whibley, co-lead guitarists Dave \u201cBrownsound\u201d Baksh and Tom Thacker, bassist Jason \u201cCone\u201d McCaslin, and drummer Frank Zummo.<\/p>\n<p>The band often performed more than 300 times yearly and is known for embarking on extended global tours, most lasting longer than a year.
