Kyrsten Sinema Slams Biden Over Border Crisis<\/h2>\n<p>Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (I-AZ) did not <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/uk-may-ease-ccp-virus-lockdown-from-march-foreign-secretary-says\/\" title=\"UK May Ease CCP Virus Lockdown From March, Foreign Secretary Says\">hold back<\/a> during an interview on Sunday, criticizing President Joe Biden for his <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/usaid-failed-to-ensure-palestinian-aid-dollars-kept-from-terrorists-gao-says\/\" title=\"USAID Failed to Ensure Palestinian Aid Dollars Kept from Terrorists, GAO Says\">repeated failure<\/a> to secure the U.S.-Mexico border. The crisis is expected to intensify this week as Title 42 is set to end.<\/p>\n<p>Sinema made the remarks during an interview with Margaret Brennan on CBS News\u2019 \u201cFace The Nation\u201d while discussing the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/arizona-border-sheriff-on-border-crisis-biden-owns-this-we-had-it-under-control-under-trump\/\" title=\"Arizona Border Sheriff On Border Crisis: Biden \u2018Owns This,\u2019 \u2018We Had It Under Control\u2019 Under Trump\">ongoing crisis<\/a> at the border and new legislation that she has introduced that would act as a \u201cband-aid\u201d to address the issue.<\/p>\n<h3>Biden Administration&#8217;s Measures Not Enough<\/h3>\n<p>Brennan highlighted actions that the Biden administration says they\u2019ve taken to address the situation, including deploying a small number of troops to the border and creating a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/kamala-harris-taking-calls-with-foreign-leaders-on-behalf-of-biden-report\/\" title=\"Kamala Harris Taking Calls With Foreign Leaders On Behalf Of Biden: Report\">phone app<\/a> for migrants. However, Sinema said the administration\u2019s measures \u201chave been announced in the past week or so\u201d despite an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/gop-lawmakers-condemn-biden-admin-over-border-crisis\/\" title=\"GOP lawmakers condemn Biden admin. over border crisis\">ongoing border crisis<\/a> that erupted immediately when Biden came into office.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHaving 1,500 troops along the U.S.-Mexico border is helpful. It is a border of over 2,000 miles though,\u201d she continued. \u201cSo 1,500 troops isn\u2019t gonna get the job done. That\u2019s just the reality.\u201d<\/p>\n<h3>Lack of Information from Biden Administration<\/h3>\n<p>Sinema expressed concern that the Biden administration has not provided enough information to border communities to prepare for the end of Title 42. She shared that a sheriff of Cochise County had received no information from the Department of Homeland Security or the federal government about what the flow is going to look like, about what they can expect for processing in terms of how long it takes to process migrants. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat\u2019s unfortunate is that I\u2019m asking for that information and I\u2019m not getting it,\u201d Sinema said of the Biden administration. \u201cAnd so either the administration has that information and they\u2019re choosing not to share it, which is a problem since we\u2019re the ones who are going to deal with the crisis, or they don\u2019t have it and that\u2019s even more concerning, because how do you prepare for the inflow of migrants when you don\u2019t know what you\u2019re going to expect?\u201d<\/p>\n<h3>Washington, D.C. Disconnected from Reality<\/h3>\n<p>Sinema said she would like those living in Washington, D.C., \u201cto learn\u201d what living in a state impacted by the border crisis is like.
