Kevin Stitt Believes GOP Can Win 2024 Elections by Focusing on Transgender and LGBT Issues<\/h2>\n<h3>Stitt Claims Democrats Have &#8220;Gone Too Far&#8221; on LGBT Issues<\/h3>\n<p>Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt recently spoke with Fox News Digital and shared his belief that the GOP could win the 2024 elections if they focused on transgender and LGBT issues. Stitt argued that Americans at large believe that the Democrats have &#8220;gone too far&#8221; on LGBT issues and would support Republicans if the issue were the focus in 2024. <\/p>\n<p>Stitt made these predictions amid his recent move to cut funding for Oklahoma&#8217;s Public Broadcasting System, the Oklahoma Educational Television Authority (OETA), over questionable content such as a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/oklahoma-governor-predicts-gop-victory-in-2024-if-focus-is-on-transgender-lgbt-issues\/\" title=\"OK governor forecasts GOP win in 2024 with emphasis on transgender, LGBT topics.\">drag queen presenting<\/a> a book to children. <\/p>\n<h3>Protecting Children and Traditional Family Values<\/h3>\n<p>Stitt believes that transgender and LGBT issues will be more important in the 2024 elections because the Left has gone too far and become too radical. He argues that Republicans have an obligation to protect children, sports, and free and fair competition in Oklahoma. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We believe in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/rnc-chair-condemns-biden-abortion-policy\/\" title=\"RNC chair condemns Biden abortion policy\">traditional family values<\/a>. We&#8217;re not going to let biological males participate in girls\u2019 sports,&#8221; he said. <\/p>\n<p>Stitt added that Republicans appear to be generally united on LGBT issues, a unity which would also help them in a match-up with Democrats, where opinions vary. <\/p>\n<h3>Over-Sexualization of Children<\/h3>\n<p>Stitt presented his own struggle with PBS as a prime example of the Left overstepping on LGBT issues, particularly regarding the &#8220;over-sexualization&#8221; of children. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;OETA, to us, is an outdated system. You know, the big, big question is why are we spending taxpayer dollars to prop up or compete with the private sector and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/oklahoma-gov-pulls-plug-on-states-pbs-station-over-drag-queens-indoctrination\/\" title=\"OK Gov shuts down PBS station due to drag queens and \"indoctrination.\"\">run television stations<\/a>? And then when you go through all of the programming that&#8217;s happening and the indoctrination and over-sexualization of our children, it&#8217;s just really problematic, and it doesn&#8217;t line up with Oklahoma values,&#8221; Stitt told Fox News Digital. <\/p>\n<p>Stitt&#8217;s office presented several examples of content it found objectionable to the outlet, including a segment on &#8220;Let&#8217;s Learn,&#8221; in which a drag queen named Lil Miss Hot Mess reads a children\u2019s book titled &#8220;The Hips on the Drag Queen Go Swish, Swish, Swish.&#8221;<\/p>\n<h3>Conclusion<\/h3>\n<p>Stitt believes that the GOP can win the 2024 elections by focusing on transgender and LGBT issues.
