Video of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/police-identify-suspect-accused-of-mowing-over-18-people-near-border-has-extensive-criminal-record\/\" title=\"Suspect with Criminal Record Identified in Border Area Incident, Mowing Over 18 People.\">aftermath showed numerous bodies severely disfigured<\/a>, including victims who had missing limbs, with the road and sidewalk covered in blood.<\/p>\n<h3>Details of the Incident<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>The SUV ran a red light, lost control, flipped on its side and stuck a total of 18 individuals<\/li>\n<li>There were six fatalities on scene and 12 critically injured<\/li>\n<li>From then to now fatalities have grown to eight<\/li>\n<li>The driver of the vehicle, later identified as George Alvarez, had attempted to flee the scene after impact, but was held down by several individuals on scene<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u201cGeorge Alvarez is a Brownsville local with an extensive rap sheet,\u201d said Brownsville Police Chief Felix Sauceda during a press conference on Monday. \u201cHe has been formally charged and arraigned with eight counts of manslaughter and 10 counts of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/mother-of-ahmaud-arbery-files-civil-lawsuit-on-anniversary-of-sons-killing\/\" title=\"Mother Of Ahmaud Arbery Files Civil Lawsuit On Anniversary Of Son\u2019s Killing\">aggravated assault<\/a> with a deadly weapon.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Sauceda said that the suspect was being held on $3.6 million bond.<\/p>\n<h3>Alvarez&#8217;s Criminal History<\/h3>\n<p>Police displayed a poster board that listed Alvarez\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/los-angeles-county-sheriff-supports-recall-effort-against-d-a-gascon\/\" title=\"Los Angeles County Sheriff Supports Recall Effort Against D.A.
