You may have seen commentators goofing around with one of the more accessible AI widgets, ChatGPT, exposing the liberal bent of the responses it generates. I decided to do a little experiment myself with one of our era\u2019s biggest bugaboos \u2013 global warming. Here\u2019s how it went.<\/p>\n<h3>AI Loves Gatekeeping Left-wing Narratives<\/h3>\n<p>Initially, I prompted the AI to tell me the current biggest threat to our country. I wanted to see if it agreed with President Biden that \u201cglobal warming\u201d is the \u201cbiggest threat\u201d facing America.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dr. Ellerman:<\/strong> What is the current biggest threat to the United States?<\/p>\n<p><strong>ChatGPT:<\/strong> I do not have personal opinions or biases, and my responses are based on publicly available information and data. While claiming it doesn\u2019t have a viewpoint, it most certainly does.
