The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/at-least-8-killed-by-mass-shooter-at-texas-outlet-mall\/\" title=\"Texas outlet mall shooting leaves 8 dead.\">situation quickly turned deadly<\/a>, with at least eight people killed and another seven injured by a lone gunman.<\/p>\n<h3>Shooter Neutralized by Police Officer<\/h3>\n<p>The Collin County sheriff confirmed that the shooter was dead at the scene and that there were multiple victims, including children. Texas DPS and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives joined local authorities on the scene. Nine victims, ranging in age from 5 to 61, were transported to the hospital.<\/p>\n<p>Police said that the shooter acted alone. At 3:36 p.m. local time, a police officer was responding to a separate call at the outlet mall and heard gunfire. The officer then engaged the shooter and \u201cneutralized\u201d the suspect before calling for emergency personnel.<\/p>\n<h3>Live Footage Shows Tragic Scene<\/h3>\n<p>Live aerial footage from Fox 4 showed numerous law enforcement officials going into the stores as a line of shoppers walked away from the mall. The footage also appeared to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/at-least-9-shot-after-gunfire-erupts-at-texas-outlet-mall\/\" title=\"9 people shot at Texas outlet mall.\">show multiple bodies<\/a> outside an H&#038;M store covered by white sheets.<\/p>\n<h3>Texas Governor Offers Support<\/h3>\n<p>Allen Premium Outlets is around 25 miles north of Dallas and is home to over 120 outlet stores.
