AMLO has been vocal about his commitment to Mexican sovereignty and has vowed to prevent any <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/president-trump-quietly-issued-another-executive-order-this-one-concerning-the-military\/\" title=\"President Trump Quietly Issued Another Executive Order \u2013 This One Concerning the Military\">foreign intervention<\/a> in Mexican affairs.<\/p>\n<h3>Refusing U.S. Interventionism<\/h3>\n<p>According to Lopez Obrador, the Pentagon contacted the Mexican Defense to ask for permission to fly over Mexican airspace with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/mexican-president-prevents-pentagon-from-tracking-asian-balloon-through-countrys-airspace\/\" title=\"Mexican President stops Pentagon from tracking \"Asian\" balloon in airspace.\">high-tech military planes<\/a> and drones to track a balloon that was detected coming from Hawaii. Despite the request, the Mexican president refused to allow the U.S. military to follow the balloon as it entered Mexican airspace.<\/p>\n<h3>Mexico Willing to Cooperate<\/h3>\n<p>Lopez Obrador stated that Mexico is willing to cooperate with the U.S. and that they could send the information to them. However, Mexico would conduct its own tracking operation using its own equipment. Although some information was shared, Mexico did not find anything.<\/p>\n<h3>Unclear Where Balloon Went<\/h3>\n<p>It is unclear where the balloon went after entering Mexican airspace.
