According to a Rasmussen Reports survey, this <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/vp-harris-and-gov-newsom-are-engaging-with-donors-for-potential-2024-bids-if-biden-doesnt-run\/\" title=\"VP Harris and Gov. Newsom Are Engaging With Donors for Potential 2024 Bids If Biden Doesn't Run\">unity ticket<\/a> would crush President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris, bringing in independents who are stubbornly sitting on the political fence. <\/p>\n<h3>The Numbers Speak for Themselves<\/h3>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/5-virtue-signaling-corporations-trying-to-prove-their-wokeness\/\" title=\"5 Virtue Signaling Corporations Trying To Prove Their \u2018Wokeness\u2019\">survey shows<\/a> that a Trump-DeSantis Unity Ticket not only brings together Republican voters who may support one or the other, but also brings 5% more independent voters, 4% more men, and increases in support among every age group and every ethnicity by between 2% and 4%. That margin is the biggest yet for any potential GOP ticket and follows a McLaughlin &#038; Associates survey yesterday that said Trump has maintained a 47%-43% edge over Biden.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTrump-DeSantis wins with women, independents, Hispanics, and college grads and does historically well with African Americans,\u201d said Larry Ward, president of Political Media Inc., which commissioned the survey. \u201cTrump-DeSantis also wins the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/6-steps-the-democrats-will-take-to-fundamentally-alter-america-and-ensure-their-permanent-power\/\" title=\"6 Steps The Democrats Will Take To Fundamentally Alter America And Ensure Their Permanent Power\">national popular vote<\/a>, which would be a first for Republicans in 20 years. Trump does well head-to-head against Biden, but adding DeSantis to the ticket is powerful,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<h3>The Ticket and Its Margin of Victory<\/h3>\n<p>We the People Convention President Tom Zawistowski, who supports the ticket, said that the ticket and its margin of victory would give confidence of a likely win in November 2024. \u201cWe can\u2019t win if either Trump or DeSantis is up on Biden by 5% or 6% and if we are not over 50%. Across the poll, we see a 6% jump from people who would vote for \u2018other\u2019 who move to Trump-DeSantis. That is a big deal. Plus, a Trump-DeSantis Unity Ticket does well in the swing states,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<h3>Other Potential Running Mates<\/h3>\n<p>Rasmussen tested other <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/former-state-prosecutor-ayala-seeking-demings-seat\/\" title=\"Former State Prosecutor Ayala Seeking Demings' Seat\">potential running mates<\/a> also. A Trump-Kari Lake ticket would also edge Biden-Harris 47%-42%. Teaming Trump with Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) would fall short 44%-40%.<\/p>\n<h3>What&#8217;s Next?<\/h3>\n<p>Zawistowski said he hopes the survey will draw attention to his effort to push a &#8220;We Want DonRon&#8221; unity ticket and win support for a petition he is building that endorses it.
