It\u2019s about pushing a radical agenda that includes the normalization of pedophilia.<\/p>\n<h2>The Disturbing Strategy of the Trans Movement<\/h2>\n<p>The trans movement\u2019s obsession with children is alarming. From \u201call <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/grade-school-used-to-be-about-math-science-and-growing-up-now-its-about-sex-drag-and-obesity\/\" title=\"Grade School Used To Be About Math, Science, And Growing Up. Now It\u2019s About Sex, Drag, And Obesity\">ages\u201d drag shows<\/a> to pornographic books in school libraries, they are aggressively pushing to groom kids into becoming trans. But it\u2019s not just about proving that transgender people are safe around kids. It\u2019s part of a broader strategy to normalize pedophilia.<\/p>\n<h3>A Dangerous Bill in Minnesota<\/h3>\n<p>Recently, a group of Democrat legislators in Minnesota introduced a bill that would have removed language in Minnesota\u2019s Human Rights Act that explicitly says pedophilia is not a \u201csexual orientation\u201d as defined by state statute. By removing that language, the bill would have opened the door to widening the definition of sexual orientation to include pedophilia as a protected class alongside other minorities.<\/p>\n<p>Thankfully, the effort failed, and the Democrat-controlled state House was persuaded by a Republican lawmaker to amend the so-called \u201cTake Pride Act\u201d (HF 1655) to clarify that pedophilia \u201cis not a protected class under this chapter.\u201d But the push by trans activists to change this language is instructive, because it tells you exactly what the movement is all about and where it\u2019s headed.<\/p>\n<h3>A Broad Definition of \u201cSexual Orientation\u201d<\/h3>\n<p>The state\u2019s Human Rights Act already defines \u201csexual orientation\u201d so broadly as to be largely meaningless. According to Minnesota law, \u201csexual orientation\u201d is \u201chaving or being perceived as having an emotional, physical, or sexual attachment to another person without regard to the sex of that person or having or being perceived as having a self-image or identity not traditionally associated with one\u2019s biological maleness or femaleness.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>But the law included a caveat: \u201c\u2018Sexual orientation\u2019 does not include a physical or sexual attachment to children by an adult.\u201d That\u2019s the language these Democrat lawmakers wanted to remove.<\/p>\n<h3>A Radical Agenda<\/h3>\n<p>The \u201cTake Pride Act\u201d was introduced by state Rep. Leigh Finke, a man who began presenting as a woman in 2017 and has since focused on making Minnesota a \u201csanctuary state\u201d for the transing of children. He has pushed legislation that ensures that minors from across the country can get experimental and irreversible surgeries in Minnesota. These surgeries include vaginoplasty, in which the penis is removed and a \u201cneovagina\u201d is constructed from colon tissue, and phalloplasty, in which a nonfunctioning \u201cpenis\u201d is made by carving flesh from the forearm.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s clear that the trans movement is not just about promoting acceptance and equality for transgender individuals. It\u2019s about pushing a radical agenda that includes the normalization of pedophilia. We must remain vigilant and speak out against these dangerous efforts to harm our children.<\/p>\n<h2>Minnesota Democrats Attempt to Remove Anti-Pedophilia Language from Human Rights Act<\/h2>\n<p>Minnesota Democrats, led by Rep. Finke, recently introduced a bill that would remove language from the state&#8217;s Human Rights Act that specifically excludes pedophilia as a sexual orientation. The bill also adds a separate definition of gender identity that can only be described as gnostic. The new definition reads: \u201c\u2018Gender identity\u2019 means a person\u2019s inherent sense of being a man, woman, both, or neither. A person\u2019s gender identity may or may not correspond to their assigned sex at birth or to their primary or secondary sex characteristics. A person\u2019s gender identity is not necessarily visible to others.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n    <span class=\"vn8ndqLm0PDcTEt6qyFgr8CM9Rsk1hVrp1VMo3NcHDwSPui3OCsEY62UA5lolUWOKwjbx0x7adWuGJjyBA\"><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">The bill erases a line eliminating &#8220;physical or sexual attachment to children by an adult&#8221; from the definition of sexual orientation <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/ivrKskI7Q5\">pic.twitter.com\/ivrKskI7Q5<\/a><\/p>\n<p>        \u2014 Alex Nester (@alexmnester) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/alexmnester\/status\/1651596469932113921?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">April 27, 2023<\/a>\n      <\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>      <script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><br \/>\n    <\/span>\n  <\/div>\n<\/figure>\n<p>When asked why he wanted to remove language that specifically excludes pedophilia as a sexual orientation, Finke tried to dodge the question, telling Fox News only that the language in question \u201cincorrectly ties pedophilia to a person\u2019s sexual orientation.\u201d<\/p>\n<h3>The Consequences of Moral Relativism<\/h3>\n<p>While it\u2019s certainly disturbing, it\u2019s not inexplicable. It\u2019s the predictable consequence of the moral relativism that has come to define our age. The transgender movement is animated by precisely this ideology, which enshrines personal volition and autonomy as the highest good \u2014 indeed as the only good.<\/p>\n<h3>Normalizing Pedophilia<\/h3>\n<p>Finke and Minnesota Democrats disingenuously claimed they were just trying to clean up the language of the state\u2019s Human Rights Act, but their efforts fit with a broader pattern on the left of sexualizing children and normalizing pedophilia as merely expressions of personal volition. Children, so the thinking goes, have a \u201cright\u201d to express their gender identity, and teachers, for example, have a duty to help them even if it means deceiving parents. And everyone, they claim, has a \u201cright\u201d to embrace, without apology, their unchosen sexual orientation \u2014 even if our societal norms haven\u2019t yet evolved enough to recognize the legitimacy of adult-child sexual attraction.<\/p>\n<h3>The GOP&#8217;s Response<\/h3>\n<p>In a statement, GOP House Minority Leader Lisa Demuth said the attempt to strike the language about pedophilia was \u201cdisturbing and inexplicable.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2>The Normalization of Pedophilia: A Logical Outgrowth of the Sexual Revolution<\/h2>\n<p>It may have sounded like a far-fetched idea four years ago, but today it&#8217;s a fact: there is a push to normalize pedophilia and sexualize childhood. This is not just some fringe movement that will go away, it&#8217;s gaining strength and momentum. This is the logical outgrowth of the nihilism inherent in the sexual revolution.<\/p>\n<h3>The Academic Push to Destigmatize Pedophilia<\/h3>\n<p>It all started in academia, with the substitution of the phrase &#8220;minor-attracted person&#8221; for &#8220;pedophile.&#8221; This construction began appearing in academic books and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/cdc-misleading-public-with-outdoor-virus-transmission-figure-report\/\" title=\"CDC Misleading Public With Outdoor Virus Transmission Figure: Report\">peer-reviewed papers<\/a> as a way to destigmatize pedophilia and present it as an unchosen sexual orientation. This effort has been underway for some time now.<\/p>\n<p>As far back as 2013, the American Psychiatric Association briefly reclassified pedophilia as a sexual orientation in its fifth edition of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, or DSM-5. Amid an understandable outcry, the APA claimed it was an error and hastily issued a correction, changing the term &#8220;sexual orientation&#8221; to &#8220;sexual interest.&#8221; Nevertheless, the DSM-5 still makes a distinction between pedophilia as a &#8220;paraphilia,&#8221; a desire not acted upon, versus pedophilia as a &#8220;pedophilic disorder,&#8221; which ordinary people would call child molestation or sexual assault.<\/p>\n<h3>Mainstreaming the Idea of the &#8220;Virtuous Pedophile&#8221;<\/h3>\n<p>Then came the &#8220;brave&#8221; TED talks arguing that pedophilia should be treated as an unchosen sexual orientation, along with articles in outlets like Salon, Vice, and New York Magazine that attempted to mainstream the idea of the &#8220;virtuous pedophile,&#8221; that there&#8217;s nothing wrong with being sexually attracted to children as long as one doesn&#8217;t act on it.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, academic papers kept rolling in, arguing in ever more explicit terms that there are no legitimate ethical or moral objections to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/we-shouldnt-let-the-blues-clues-episode-be-just-another-passing-cultural-outrage\/\" title=\"We Shouldn\u2019t Let the Blue\u2019s Clues Episode Be Just Another Passing Cultural Outrage\">adult-child sex<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3>The Sexualization of Children in Mainstream Media<\/h3>\n<p>Before long, &#8220;drag kids&#8221; broke into the mainstream, with a TV show on Discovery Plus, &#8220;Generation Drag,&#8221; and the regular appearance of fawning articles in outlets like NBC News about drag kids &#8220;slaying the runway &#8211; one &#8216;fierce&#8217; look at a time.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Good Morning America&#8221; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/yes-the-trans-movement-is-coming-for-your-kids\/\" title=\"Trans movement targets children.\">featured child drag queens dancing suggestively<\/a> for audiences of grinning dupes, smug in their belief that tolerating and affirming the blatant sexualization of children marked them out as enlightened and humane. These would be the same people who dismiss the campaign to legalize pedophilia as fringy stuff that will get nowhere.<\/p>\n<h3>Conclusion<\/h3>\n<p>The normalization of pedophilia is not a fringe movement, it&#8217;s gaining strength and momentum. It&#8217;s time to wake up and recognize that this is the logical outgrowth of the nihilism inherent in the sexual revolution. We cannot afford to dismiss this as something that will go away on its own. We must take a stand and protect our children from those who seek to sexualize them.<\/p>\n<h2>Is the Trans Movement Justifying Pedophilia?<\/h2>\n<p>Imagine a scene: parents who bring their kids to drag brunches, where they watch adult men in drag perform sexually explicit dance routines. These same parents are also the ones who recently protested bills in Texas, Montana, and Tennessee that would ban the castration and mutilation of minors in the name of &#8220;gender-affirming care.&#8221; They are willing to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/dems-do-not-plan-to-call-impeachment-witnesses-in-trump-trial\/\" title=\"Dems Do Not Plan To Call Impeachment Witnesses In Trump Trial\">disrupt legislative proceedings<\/a> and even tussle with police to advocate for transing youth. But if we take them at their word, their philosophy and its imperatives lead to a justification of pedophilia.<\/p>\n<h3>The Logic of the Trans Movement<\/h3>\n<p>If a minor can consent to irreversible surgeries and treatments like castration, genital mutilation, and sterilization in the name of &#8220;gender identity,&#8221; then what else can they consent to? The answer is anything, including sex with adults. The trans movement&#8217;s logic leads inexorably to this conclusion, and it&#8217;s why there was a push to remove pedophile language from the Minnesota statute. Denying this reality is self-delusion, and the trans movement is coming for our children.<\/p>\n<h3>What Can We Do?<\/h3>\n<p>Once we accept this reality, we can start thinking clearly about what to do.
