Movie\u201d<\/h2>\n<p>\u201cThe Super Mario Bros. Movie\u201d has been making waves in the box office, grossing over $1 billion in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/russian-violence-escalates-in-ukraine\/\" title=\"Russian Violence Escalates In Ukraine\">global ticket sales<\/a>. However, two Twitter accounts have been suspended for sharing a pirated copy of the film. Despite this, millions were still able to watch at least a portion of the movie for free.<\/p>\n<h3>The Pirated Film\u2019s Staying Power on Twitter<\/h3>\n<p>One of the accounts, <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/vidsthatgohard\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">@vidsthatgohard<\/a>, shared the full movie in two parts to 1.1 million followers. According to a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.forbes.com\/sites\/paultassi\/2023\/04\/30\/nine-million-people-have-watched-the-full-super-mario-bros-movie-illegally-posted-on-twitter\/?sh=6ff0626ef2be\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">report<\/a> from Forbes, the quality of the illegal film was fairly decent, and the tweets including the pirated video were left up on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/the-new-acting-attorney-general-jeff-rosen-recently-wrote-an-essay-on-foreign-influence-in-us-elections-this-tells-us-a-little-about-his-knowledge-of-whats-going-on-today\/\" title=\"The New Acting Attorney General Jeff Rosen Recently Wrote an Essay on Foreign Influence in US Elections \u2013 This Tells Us A Little About His Knowledge of What\u2019s Going On Today\">social media platform<\/a> for hours before Twitter took any action.<\/p>\n<p>The report\u2019s author, senior contributor Paul Tassi, attributed the pirated film\u2019s staying power on the platform to the recent changes at Twitter. This includes the fact that new owner Elon Musk has admitted to cutting staff by up to 80%, including the content moderators who would normally be expected to monitor such tweets. Additionally, it is only the new Twitter Blue options that allow subscribed users to post videos that are up to one hour long \u2014 which is what made it possible to share the entire 92-minute film in just two tweets.<\/p>\n<p>Another account, Twilight Sparkle, also shared the full film. Before Twitter suspended both accounts, they had racked up a combined total of over 9 million views.<\/p>\n<h3>\u201cThe Super Mario Bros. Movie\u201d Breaks Records<\/h3>\n<p>\u201cThe Super Mario Bros. Movie\u201d was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/super-marios-bros-movie-shocks-hollywood-after-hitting-massive-milestone\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">released in theaters<\/a> just under one month ago and has already grossed over $1 billion. It was the first film released in 2023 to reach that benchmark \u2014 and one of only a handful to do so since the pandemic. The movie has also cemented its place in history as the most <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/two-twitter-accounts-suspended-over-pirating-smash-hit-super-mario-bros-movie-after-9-million-watch-for-free\/\" title=\"Two Twitter accounts suspended for pirating 'Super Mario Bros.
