This comes despite recent <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/irs\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">IRS<\/a> whistleblower claims that contradict Garland&#8217;s sworn testimony.<\/p>\n<p>In early February 2021, <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/joe-biden\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">President Joe Biden<\/a> asked nearly all Senate-confirmed U.S. attorneys for their resignations, with Weiss as an exception, who was asked to <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/justice-department-trump-us-attorneys-resign\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">stay on as he investigates the president\u2019s son<\/a>.
