Roberts is currently battling with the president\u2019s son in court over $20,000 monthly <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/4-big-takeaways-from-the-new-york-timess-attempt-to-control-the-hunter-biden-narrative\/\" title=\"4 Big Takeaways From The New York Times\u2019s Attempt To Control The Hunter Biden Narrative\">paternity payments<\/a>, which Hunter is seeking to have decreased, according to CNN.<\/p>\n<h3>Refusal to Acknowledge Navy<\/h3>\n<p>The president and his son have repeatedly refused to acknowledge Navy, even after a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/mother-of-hunter-bidens-out-of-wedlock-child-breaks-silence-on-their-relationship\/\" title=\"Mother Of Hunter Biden\u2019s Out-Of-Wedlock Child Breaks Silence On Their Relationship\">court-ordered paternity test proved<\/a> that Navy is Hunter\u2019s daughter. The president bragged about his grandchildren last week during a \u201ctake your child to work day\u201d event at the White House. Biden listed six grandchildren, leaving off Navy.<\/p>\n<h3>Legal Battle Over Paternity Payments<\/h3>\n<p>Hunter appeared in an Arkansas courtroom on Monday after Roberts\u2019 legal team accused him of refusing to comply with a court order to produce fulsome financial records. Roberts\u2019 attorneys have argued that Hunter should produce his records \u2014 including assets such as cars and houses and the amount of money he has made selling amateur artwork \u2014 to prove that his paternity payments should be decreased.<\/p>\n<p>Independence County Circuit Court Judge Holly Meyer scolded Hunter in the courtroom for providing overly redacted records, saying their ability to keep certain information out of the public eye was \u201cbeing somewhat abused,\u201d according to CNN.<\/p>\n<h3>Legal Battle Over Navy\u2019s Last Name<\/h3>\n<p>In addition to the legal battle over paternity payments, Roberts is also attempting to get Navy\u2019s last name, currently the same as her mother\u2019s, legally changed to \u201cBiden.\u201d The Biden family name is \u201cnow synonymous with being well educated, successful, financially acute, and politically powerful,\u201d Roberts\u2019 attorneys wrote in a court filing in December.<\/p>\n<p>Roberts\u2019 attorneys said that changing Navy\u2019s last name to her father\u2019s would make her \u201cknown to the world\u201d as a \u201cmember of the prestigious Biden family,\u201d according to The New York Times.<\/p>\n<p>Hunter\u2019s legal team is fighting Roberts\u2019 request.
