However, their faith is being rewarded as Angel Studios announced this week it\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/president-trump-please-pardon-jon-woods-a-victim-of-process-crimes-like-michael-flynn\/\" title=\"President Trump, Please Pardon Jon Woods, a Victim of Process Crimes Like Michael Flynn\">paying back<\/a> the 2,024 investors who supported the project\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/super-bowl-lv-all-the-best-commercials\/\" title=\"Super Bowl LV: All The Best Commercials\">marketing budget<\/a>, plus 20%. That\u2019s called the P&#038;A (prints and advertising) in Hollywood speak. Angel Studios says \u201cHis Only Son\u201d is the first film to leverage crowd investors into its marketing plan.<\/p>\n<h3>The Angel Studios Model<\/h3>\n<p>The studio\u2019s twist on traditional crowdfunding methods allows investors to receive some, or all, of their money back if the projects in question thrive. Investors raised $1.235 million in under 100 hours to help promote the movie. Now, they\u2019ll receive a 120% payout given the film\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/his-only-son-film-turns-profit-for-crowdfunding-investors\/\" title=\"\"Crowdfunded film 'His Only Son' earns profit for investors.\"\">box office success \u2013  million<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re proud to see that, once again, the Angel Studios Model is successful in getting crowd investors a return on their investment,\u201d Neal Harmon, CEO and Co-Founder at Angel Studios, said in a statement. \u201cWe\u2019ve seen this happen for the investors who made \u2018Dry Bar Comedy\u2019 possible and again with those who invested in \u2018The Chosen.&#8217;\u201d<\/p>\n<h3>About \u201cHis Only Son\u201d<\/h3>\n<p>\u201cHis Only Son\u201d recounts one of the most controversial moments in the Old Testament\u2014when Abraham was commanded by God to sacrifice his son Isaac on the mountain of Moriah.
