Bans such as these are nothing but harmful.\u201d<\/p>\n<h3>Critics Respond<\/h3>\n<p>However, critics pointed out that many of the books were not being banned but simply removed from school libraries based on age appropriateness. Some of the books mentioned in the article contained graphic depictions and illustrations of sex acts, including those between minors. The Babylon Bee CEO Seth Dillon tweeted, \u201cChelsea Clinton has come out in favor of porn for kids.\u201d Chad Felix Green added, \u201cThe photo on the article you&#8217;re quoting features a book with explicit illustrations of sex acts, a book about incest, one a sex story about two 10-year-old boys, one about a man raping and isolating a 12-year-old girl, one about a teen girl who seduces a man who kidnaps her\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n<h3>Controversy Continues<\/h3>\n<p>Parents and students have <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wednesday-october-6th-2021\/\" title=\"Wednesday | October 6th, 2021\">attended school board meetings<\/a> and read aloud from some of the books in question, leading to heated debates about the appropriateness of the content.
