The &#8220;Youth Health Protection Act&#8221; prohibits certain medical and surgical procedures, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/gov-abbott-to-texas-agencies-investigate-sex-change-procedures-for-trans-youths-as-child-abuse\/\" title=\"Gov Abbott to Texas Agencies: Investigate \u201cSex Change\u201d Procedures for Trans Youths as Child Abuse\">including puberty blockers<\/a>, for children struggling with gender dysphoria.<\/p>\n<p>The legislation aims to protect minors from &#8220;any form of pressure to receive harmful, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/ohio-republicans-propose-bill-to-block-child-sex-changes\/\" title=\"Ohio Republicans Propose Bill to Block Child Sex Changes\">experimental puberty blockers<\/a> and cross-sex hormones and to undergo irreversible, life-altering surgical procedures&#8221; before they reach adulthood.<\/p>\n<p>Gianforte&#8217;s press secretary, Kaitlin Price, said in a statement that the governor is &#8220;committed to protecting Montana children from invasive medical treatments that can permanently alter their healthy, developing bodies.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The bill is set to become law on October 1, adding Montana to a growing list of around a dozen states that have passed similar laws protecting minors from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/montana-gov-signs-bill-banning-transgender-surgeries-for-children\/\" title=\"Montana Gov.
