But when it comes to any <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/fauci-wants-all-the-credit-none-of-the-blame\/\" title=\"Fauci Wants All The Credit, None Of The Blame\">negative consequences resulting<\/a> from pandemic policies, well, that\u2019s a different story.<\/p>\n<p>In a recent interview with CNN\u2019s Christiane Amanpour, Fauci was asked about the mistakes made during the pandemic. He responded by saying, \u201cI think we have to get away from the blame game because so many of the things you mentioned were unknowns at the time.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">\u201cWe have to get away from the blame game,\u201d says Dr. Anthony Fauci. Shutdowns were necessary, he adds, but some \u201cschools stayed closed far too long.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>That said, he says the school where his daughter taught shut down for two weeks and \u201cthey didn\u2019t do too badly.\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/DlPnWShomj\">pic.twitter.com\/DlPnWShomj<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Christiane Amanpour (@amanpour) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/amanpour\/status\/1651999361981722639?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">April 28, 2023<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>It&#8217;s clear that Fauci wants to be remembered as a selfless hero who gave his time and suggestions to the president without any real power to enact lockdowns. But is he presenting his role in the pandemic accurately?<\/p>\n<p>While it&#8217;s true that Fauci had no real power in terms of shutting anything down, he was perceived as the go-to \u201cexpert\u201d on COVID whom the president and other politicians depended upon for advice. Fauci effectively told elected officials they would be responsible for \u201cneedless suffering and death\u201d if they re-opened too quickly.<\/p>\n<p>Readers should also keep in mind that Fauci wants to take credit for the COVID vaccine and the quickness with which it was released. Yet throughout 2020, Fauci cast doubt on Operation Warp Speed.<\/p>\n<p>Of course, Americans now know that medical experts have since warned that some people who took the vaccine have a higher risk of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/cutting-corners-liberals-mindlessly-rejoice-as-fda-fully-approves-pfizer-vaccine-despite-poor-results-skipped-key-clinical-trials-and-advisory-committee-review\/\" title=\"Cutting Corners: Liberals Mindlessly Rejoice as FDA Fully Approves Pfizer Vaccine Despite Poor Results; Skipped Key Clinical Trials and Advisory Committee Review\">adverse side effects<\/a>. We also know that the side effects of lockdowns were arguably worse than the disease.<\/p>\n<p>Fauci doesn\u2019t want to focus on any of that.
